Iv heard that 50% of the state is covered by forest area, which makes it an ideal psy destination 
Im leaving for chhattisgarh tonight, and Im gonna be there for almost a month. and for those who have never heard of it, wikipedia rescues the ignorant - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chhattisgarh

try getting to Bastar district if u dont get hit by the poisonous arrows of the tribals there they may share sum local drinks with u
on a serious note belive me it's a dead place except for raipur u'll struggle for ne leisure of b'bay city.
p.s. now u'll know y gujarat is way ahead

ofcourse its a dead place, wikipedia says that only 20% of the state's population is urbanized. 
and that is why it makes it even more better for a scene, im sure the cops wont even think of entering naxalite zones.
I will be staying in raipur for most, and traveling all over the state. il have nothing to do in the weekends though, maybe il make friends with that tribal chief and bonk his daughter. (reminds me of ace ventura for some reason)
p.s- man, you Gujarati businessmen want to market yourself every damn where. you are like those christian women who want to convert every living thing to Christ believers. no offence meant ofc i liked the food in gujrat a lot, and the people were over friendly at times. im sure chattisgarh will be not as 'happening' as your kingdom your highness, though might have more natural beauty

well speaking of natural beauty the place is full of it
places esp. in bastar dist are virtually unexplored coz the tribals there dont like us.
as far as the naxal problem is concerned belive me bro u dont wanna get caught by 1.
i've had an hair raising exp. in jharkhand & m really happy to be here spamming the indian section with u

Don't Travel by Roads at Night Time (even if it is the national highway)
trains are much safer

i know i know, ive been strictly advised not to venture out of the hotel room after 18:00 hrs. scary shit man.
edit - but im gonna travel by road most of the time, I will be booking a cab to be safer.

well u can roam in the cities by foot in the night that should'nt be a problem
i remember roaming in raipur at nights was'nt that scary but yea outside the city esp. on haighways it's a

oh yes. back on topic.
so seems like theres not much of a psy scene here then, maybe i can start one this time. Maybe i can keep updating this thread with the best possible places to party, and also where we can get the sound from n stuff. ps. if anyone wasted enough wants to join in can pm me il be in raipur. we can go mushroom hunting in the forests
