this is a splendid compilation!
hats off, again

my favourite tune of them all is jairamji's track although it's hard to choose.
no mediocre tracks here...           "no one ever sweats on a plug-in" -moby

I love it...
artwork is splendid, eye-appealing and definitely an appreciation.
trackselection is subtle and overall feeling is cozy. another quality release you can not miss.

the 'Hibernation' track is my favourite...

altogether it is a 'safe' release with a tasty recipe, but slightly too familiar ;-)           www.omnipresence.be

Heard the Tripswitch track a couple of times on psy radio and I nearly floated away. Stunning. Worth the price of the CD alone I reckon. *starts saving...again*

Nice compilation from Interchill finally. It's been a long time for me.

Arcana is one of these comps where the total is better than the parts. There are some excellent tracks here and some that are nothing special or even boring, but together it holds the story and is nice to listen to- good compiling work of Naasko.

Tripswitch starts and sucks me inside with huge sound- one of the best 3 tracks here. Then things fall down, literaly. The Dubsahara remix to Kaya Project is nice enough, even if not anything special, but somehow it sounds bad after Tripswitch (and before Zen Lemonade). Small sound, too much bass- bad mastering maybe...
Things continue fading for me with Zen Lemonade & Don Payote- ok stuff but a bit chewed.
Eat Static pick things up a bit- very good groove, though the use of the arab singing is a little annyoying. Doesn't sit nice. Hibernation is also nice- very hypnotic, though nothing spectacular musically. Noodream track is the real downpoint for me here. Then things lift up again, with a better dubshara track, very mysterius, though again it sounds a bit muffled. Adham Shaike & Jairamji carry us out, with 2 other of the best tracks here, and definitely my 2 favorits.

To sum it- 3 excellent tracks, 3 nice ones, 3 not bothering ones and one bad, and a nice story telling that makes it better than all that and a nice enjoyable journey. Not sure how the music fits into the Arcana concept with all the kabala signs and all the rest of the symbolism. Recommended.

One thing though- dear designers and labels- have the tracklist in a spiral on the back is fucking annoying!!! Please stop it.
