what a lovely time.A real party,raw and sofisticade.Thank you psytribfor the wonderfull time .we will be back on june.The chill roon deco made me fell back in Goa,and what a great music.we meat lots of nice people and I also have some coll pics.good times rolls...hehe.Gracias.L. |

An amazing season opener. Psytribe parties are ALWAYS different and exiting in their own way. Holloween send us all off to a different level..this one reved us to a summer to come that is sure to take the LA trance scene to where people have been wanting to see it go for years. More than anything,the one word that keeps naming my impression of these gatherings is HEART. You can not NOT feel how much love and passion was put into this.The music just kept banging itself out, continuously surprising..more and more beautiful as time went on..Spirole, Andirooni..the rest of the Psytribe crue..hats off..you guys are awsome.

my first Psytribe party thank you! What a beautiful spring tribal gathering. The outdoor space, you are set in deeply, almost as if the mountains and nature enfold us and keep us safe and free...to gather together....
the intense pulsing sound of the music...travels and faints perfectly, or, as we drove in, it faints IN just as heavenly... 
Every sense full on!!
The decoration, 3 story high, the colors lit the dancing ground, the people, the gathering
and I am reminded of Deedrah's (Dado) set, he played a timeless journey, starting under the stars...and then before I knew it see the dawn beginning sunshine travels up behind the mountains and we ALL kept watching and dancing, so in tune with nature...so in tune with the sun and the light....and the music and eachother...When that first ray shot through ......
I am glad I was a part of this special party with everyone!!
I hope to see your faces on the dancefloor May 21 for Shawnodese and Sirius Isness!!

Yes, as Bodhi mentioned, Barakuda and Spyros, their morning sets were amazing, and additionally Psyclops!!! These three guys who are original member of psytribe did beautiful musical relay, and they never missed their baton. Andy barakuda didn't kill a bit of energy level that Dado brought up, and carried it out into his style. Spyros showed his deep and broad his musical taste, and finally Kerry Psyclopse laid down deep and emotional atmosphere which came from nice blending between progressive and light fullon.
It was indeed special party, as for the vibe. I felt very warm and refreshing, I met people from many places like North like SF, Santa Barbara, South, San Diego and even Mexico and that made big one sphere of peacefull vibe. I think that made differrece and when Andy and Spyros involved, there is always lots of passion and love...
I feel I'm still there, it still left big smile on my face....
it was just so much fun...and we were just so free... Tell me what you listen, and I'll tell you what you are.

well i have to admit that i wasn't that happy at all before the party because of the diference i see in between a dj set anounced by the same dado on his web page and the flyer i read from psytribe announced a live act by deedrah first of all because thats what's bringing down the ecene in mexico and other parts of the world, the promoters pays a dj set which is always cheaper than the live act and try with this to get as much people to the party saying that they will have a live act by whoever they paid to have, and they just give you the DJ and their well pre selected dose of tunes i honestly enjoy dj sets but i just cant compare the energy of seeing a live act with it. come on psytribe you guys know what i mean, i remember the first party i went here in LA which by the way, was made by you guys *son kite* live at the ranch i still remember the incredible feeling from seb from playing the violin, can you compare that witha DJ set?.. i dont think so.... i cant denied that i had a lot of fun this time and it was a really nice party,the sound was amazing loud as fuck all the time,the deco was good, the roads were a little better than last time, the vibes were also really good every single smile in the dance floor made it unforgettable i have to admit that dado dj set blew me away and made me dance for a while same with the nocturnal set by dai wow that was insane dai i really enjoy the way you played. you guys know how to make a great party dont make the same mistakes as others promoters, psytribe when you're having a dj set announce the DJ name and when a live artist is playing their respective name as a live performer....all the best to all of you...
PD:who was the asian freak who punch the other guy for no reason in the dancefloor??>. we saw him like 2 miles down the road naked and trying to approach to our car that was nuts...

Kin Beat, I'm sorry you feel that you were deceived, but it didn't say anywhere that he was playing live......The reason you use Deedrah is because most people know him by that name...That's who he is....
Plus in a lot of cases, it makes no difference to book live as opposed to a DJ set, either way they are pre selected tracks from a digital source.....With someone like Son Kite, it makes more sense to book them live as you don't get the full experience if you don't book live...
Again, noone in Psytribe is trying to deceive you or anyone here. We are all available for your questions, if you are not sure about something..Just drop us a PM if you want confirmation.......
I don't mean to harp, but I feel negativity is not necessary and in this case is based on assumptions that we meant to deceive for more attendance, which is just not the case.

On reference to the Kin Beat post.your's is the first negative buble gun post about this event,and is OK,that is what the board is for.I just don't agree w you.If the performances like you sad are on the son kite,Eat Static,Sun Project etc..side.they have to came live,they are not even DJs...but Dado is nothing but a pure full of tones DJ,w the quality of psytrance music he did play who cares about a open mac laptop.probabily only you.manny |

i m very sorry for the confusion i try to express my thoughts without even trying to be offensive....
i know you guys didnt do it just to get more people attent the party and believe me i know that.. i apologize for using that as example. LA is a very underground ecene and would say one of the craziest and purest i've ever seen it is growing really fast and every month more and more acts and djs are coming down to play... to manny i m sorry for being the only one who cares about a laptop running but believe me i've seen one person live acts and they're not the same* i m gonna use a quote* made by simon postford long time ago: My gigs are more about 'live engineering/mixing' than 'live playing'. Since it is just me on stage, i don't really get time to play anything... although the mixing desk I like to use as an instrument in its own right.....
i agree with that i dont know about you.... is more than a couple of turntables what it takes.....

Sure, I was expecting a live Deedrah set too, but once I found out he'd be DJing I didn't feel deceived at all. In fact, I became more excited because when it comes to Dado's original work, I'm familiar with it and know what to expect... whereas I had no idea where he'd take us with a DJ set, so instead of having my expectations met I got the unexpected, which is always better IMO.
It was interesting to hear what artists and tracks Dado likes. I always wonder that about primarily live artists. Just as I wonder what DJs would sound like if they wrote their own tracks. Anyway, I digress...
Point being the lineup @ Anixi was purrrrfect!!! Thanx again Psytribe. |

Wow, thank you guys for all the posotive words, it gives us a lot of motivation to make you guys happy and organize even better parties in the future, as for Kin Beat, let me explain you something, L.A. is not Mexico, Japan, or Israel, this is L.A., a place with a very small Psy Scene, the people here who are real trancers and are educated about psy artists like yourself are usually on this forum or on our e-mail list or they keep themselves informed like checking web sites, etc., And so I sent out an e-mail with artists time slots and posted it on this thread page 3 or 4 and other websites throughout the web and also the time slots where projected on the visuals screen every so often through out the party, and it clearly said that Earthling would be playing Live and DJ set and that Deedrah would give us a DJ set, so psytribe was not trying to decieve anyone, but on our flyers and posters we used the name deedrah because thats what he is known for. and it makes it easier for people to relate and know which artis is coming, if I had said DJ DADO only the educated trancers would know who that is.. If I had brought out lets say Christoff for a DJ set I would advertise it as ABSOLUM DJ SET because know one knows Christoff or if we brought out DJ Moshe for a DJ set then I would advertise it as XEROX DJ set, now these examples are all Stage names that are just one person, if I for example booked DJ DUVDEV, then I would NOT advertise it as Infected Mushroom because Infected Mushroom is two guys, if that was the case then for sure I woud say DJ Duvdev from Infected Mushroom, or Max from Etnica, or Goblin from PsySex, whatever the case may be, just letting you know are way of thinking, it is not to decieve anyone it is only to help the uneducated trancers relate with the name they see on a flyer,etc. and not trying to decieve anyone., Anyways I had a great time at the party the music was perfect, and I usually would never comment on my own party, but I have to say with all the PsyTribers help we put on one hell of a show, see you June 11th... |

Crazy night! I had been waiting for Deedrah to come to LA for years Dado was awsome, as was Earthling and all the other dj's, top notch! Thanks psytribe, as always a great party. Hope the road is a little better next time, heheh all our passengers had to get out of the car every river-crossing so we didnt smash too hard! Shoulda drove my truck...
