Had a chat with the man himself at the Glade ...
he's still exactly the same as he was 10 years ago!
(ie a top geezer!)
I will be playing with him in France in November
(and squarepusher too!)... which sounds like a right
laugh .....

Well... i saw Aphex Twin live for the first time now... wOwsy... The basslines acctuly made my blood run the other way or something..  lol
I't was a great experience with magical sounds and peeps... But i missed one thing.. He didnt play any of his own songs... Well any way.. I love Aphex ... cRaZy guy..

Isak: you mean Psilodump (and I'll recomend the classic bootleg of his live show at the London Microfestival in 2001, one of the coolest acts ever), and in any case we're talking about something very different from Aphex Twin - nowadays he's mostly into making techno and works nearly completely without the "wtf?!" factor that is still at the core of Aphex Twin's music.

Oh wow after reading this I went I got a copy of Ambient works II and Druqks and listened to them all last night and must say that is possibly the most beautiful music I've ever heard, along with Ishq and Nine Inch Nails... to ad I was away when he payed live here a year ago, heard it was a blast... |

Aphext Twin is back with a series of 10 new 12's:
AFX: Analord 1, 2, 3, and 4 are already out and another 6 cuts of vinyl are on the way in March, April, and May!
It all appears to be vintage analoguish-acid stuff.
