Wow People it's nice to hear that there is a great scene in Africa...me and my friend make psy trance we are in a very good state now after 5 years or so we just need to relax and work just on the music so all we need is a nice cheap place were we can put our studio in it...I would greatly appreciate if someone could help me or give me some hints like how much would a 3 bderoom house rent cost and how much food would cost? Thanks a million!           Your sound, is your music, is your soul keep them all on the right track!

ok SA is good country but its not nice to earn SA rands because you dont get alot for what you work. IE its hard to live there.

But if you are already rich, then its great.

i will convert with £ cause its easiest seeing as its x10 ie £1 = R10

so a 3 bedroom place (ofcourse depends where you buy) if you buy in a nice area like table view or somerset west etc

you are talking like rent from R2000-R4000 which is £200-£400 a month for a 3 bedroom house. Which if you are earning £'s is realy cheap. But if your earning Rands its not as avg salary there is like R2000-R5000 unless you have a degree of some sort.

food, this is quiet cheap, 1 person can live very comfortably with buying from supermarket for like R1000-R1500 which is £100-£150 which i think is basically the same as england and most of europe.

parties will range from like, R80-R150 entrance fee £8-£15 more or less.

when i goto a 1 day party i could spend like R1000 easy at party thats including food and "other" haha

but you can have a good party on like R300 just depends on how much of party you want to have.

cool thing bout SA is that its cheap to buy a house, you can get a 2 bedroom duplex (semi detached house) for like under £30 000 which is very cheap. so if you can afford to buy that, then you dont need to pay rent which is the most expensive thing in SA.

i hope this helped. MOVE TO SA ITS GREAT!!

ahoy!

why are these price so whacked?

i dont think so...

i rate like in west coast of cape town those price are right

like my mom bought a house for R270000 which is £27000 that has 2 bedroom and is in secure complex, its semi-detached house.

Im not sure where you live or which prices you saying is wrong, but i lived there from 7-20 , 1991-2004 and im not just making shit up what i said is what i think.

the rent price i said were right for the west coast of SA places like table view and west beach etc, but if you live in worse area it will be cheaper, i dont where you talking about, you didnt say, all you say is negative feedback.... ERRR those price are wrong ERRRR your stupid EERRR

please man say somthing constructive, dont just tune say the right prices then if you are special enuf to know them.!!!

sorry had to do some venting there....

anyway SA is cool and cheap so whats the problem????

SA is cool and cheap for somebody OUTSIDE south africa to come and live here...

but for people ... ordinary people... struggling to get by...

SA is not cheap for its own people, dude..... but i suppose that is due to a number of reasons...
