I've been getting more and more into chiptunes and 8-bit. If you don't know what they are its basically videogame music. But old skool. People take systems like commodor 64, sega master system, nes, gameboy etc. Chiptunes is the same as 8-bit but there is a distinctive sound that they use. If you download torrents of cpu prograns that have keygens you have probly heard a chiptune track when you open it. Apparently there is a big scene. I know about the blip fest here in NYC but I have yet to go to one. Was wondering if anyone knew where to go see some 8-bit or chiptunes here in nyc. Here are some examples.

Chiptunes: This is dubmood. Really good. I think this is a video game cover that he beefed up.

Here is another

This is 8-bit: Hally

I love it all! Peace           Projection makes perception. The world is what you gave it, nothing more than that. It is a witness to your state of mind, the outside picture of an inward condition. As a man thinketh, so does he perceive- Anonymous

Yup, into it and working on material using some gameboys and 2 cartridges of LSDJ (tracker for on the gameboy).

For now I only have some W.I.P. thing with a bunch of guitar FX pedals and a whole bunch of unfinished tracks on the lsdj cartridges.
