Anyone ever been to Iowa?

If you get invited to play there do it! if you were thinking of going to party there DO IT! its worth the extra couple hours these people know how to do it right! not the least bit of negativity. Very hospitable. No riff raff. The Mindoutpsyde djs are really good some of the most enjoyable ive seen not to mention the music was great the whole time. They said they may be doing something in july. So keep your eyes open for the next Mindoutpsyde event. Make sure you get there, no matter what you have to do!!!
Ive never experienced a party group like these people Im still blown away.

I had a great time with those psyowa folks last year a crystal sky full moon in Wisconsin ... Good Times ...
Expect to see them at Reunion with Touch Samadhi in Sept.
Hope to make it up there soon !!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey chuck, sorry i didnt get a chance to say goodbye to you and jack! everyone looked so peaceful and i needed to get home after a hard weekend of craziness so i left. thank you soooooo much for coming out to iowa and sharing the beautiful farmhouse area and sharing your weekend with some of my favorite people! thats two weekends in a row that youve blown my mind and i'm scrambling to find more of your stuff!
thanks to everyone else that came out and got to spend time with me. thanks to my brothers at mindoutpsyde for all the support, kindness, positive attitudes, and putting up with my crap. looking forward to the future with this great group of people |

wow, thank you Chuk for such kind words. but the feeling is mutual. your set was one of the most phenomenal sets we've experienced here, comparable to electrypnose. the east coast is lucky to have you as you are by far the most talented trance acts in the US we've heard east of iowa. Thanks for the great chats, the amazing floating pyramid you and Jack worked on for hours, and laying down some unforgettable tunes. remember, if you ever move anywhere else, KEEP IOWA IN MIND! We could really use you out here man! drive safe and see you in a couple of weeks |

Chuk, your kind words mean so much to me. I can't describe the pleasure that we had hosting Jack and yourself. You two are some of the best people that I have met in this wonderful community. So open, warm, and extremely kind. I cannot tell you how much fun this weekend was and how I can't wait to do it again. And what Chris told ya about Psyowa is all true, it is an amazing place to live and would LOVE to have you and Jack back SOON!!! Either way I look forward to boogyin down with ya again at Gemini in a couple of weeks!
Your tunes were absolutly phenominal, just up my alley. I was blow away by your whole performance. Twisted, dark, madness. I AM IN LOVE! The basslines you write are amazing, keep up the sonic insanity. I really have to say that despite the fact that it didn't rain until the glorious end, that tarp lended the SICKEST stage presense I've ever seen. You looked like you came from the bush and lived under a psychedelic breathing blob, I was frazzled! And a big thank you goes you and Jack for all of the amazing help and contributions that both of you provided all weekend long. I can't tell you how thankful we are to of had you guys!!! Many unforgettable conversations, kind words, and great memories were spawned this weekend. Thanks once again, Chuk!
Overall the party itself was AMAZING, simply amazing. The vibe was incredible, it was as if everyone was sharing our home with us as if it were their own. I recieved so much praise as to the quality of the music all night long. This weekend the psychedelic movement hit the true underground once again. The spirit at this party is what all of this all about. People breaking social borders and uniting for an unbelievable experience that each person there is an active participant of!!! It didn't matter who you were, at this party EVERYONE was sharing ONE incredible vibe. UNITY was achieved!
Incredible performances all around. I really really enjoyed your tunes Chuk. I am anxiously awaiting ANY new releases from your label. Also I was BLOWN AWAY by the goa that was played by Varun and Damon. I reached a new level of enlightenment listening to your music. You really made the party extra special for my new friends who were experiencing only their 2nd psy event. Many thanks and praise were given by Greg.
Thank you to everyone who came and helped out and a big namaste goes to everyone who got down with their psychedelic bad selfs--you are the reason all of this continues to happen! Keep your ears to the underground for more events that MindOutpsyde has brewin and simmering in the pot.

This weekend changed my perception of what the psychedelic underground can be in the midwest. Amazing people, wonderful vibrations, beautiful outdoor venue, top notch production, unique deco and the feeling of being with a family. At points it felt like the birth of psytrance all over again... especially with the blissful looks on some of the new faces.
MindOutpsyde has the perfect outlook as organisers and the best value system I've come across to date.
Driven by music and the love of the psychedelic party experience. Energetic, positive, openminded, respectful ... and all with a good dose of quirky whacky trippy iowan humour! Taking the idea of a party and adding the very best of their personality to make it what we all experienced this weekend.
The music was amazing as it always is... tying up all styles of psychedelia. Thanks again for having us out there.
Big Booooom to all you guys! Hope this vibe carries far beyond Iowa.

Chuk! The kind words are truly appreciated my brotha! Having you and Jack around for the weekend really made things exciting. I had no idea we would get to spend the extra time with you that we did, and even start the celebration early on Saturday night instead of Sunday.
I cant wait to plan bigger and better things so that we can get you back out here sometime in the future, at a better venue with a larger audience, because your sound is GOOD my friend and we need more Iowan's to hear ya. It was great to have you around, and your work on that windmill creating the "Floating Pyramid" was invaluable! That single 3-dimensional deco structure made the entire yard seem Psychedelic some how, haha!
Thank you so much for the kind words, for coming and sharing your music, and for being a humble and modest human being. Cannot wait to share more time with you and your friends. Until then!

id say there is slightly more younger folk than older folk, but the ratio of young to older is no greater than 3:1 id say. theres a lot of youth in the electronic scene here in Iowa, and when combined with the mature and welcoming audience that follows Psytrance devotedly throughout the midwest, our local youngsters get the feeling of a true Psy event. truly no Psy party is complete without all ages in attendance
