autechre are using an innovative technix called microsampling.1 sec autechre sound is made by a large amount of different sounds.very nice indeed.unfortunately I don't know any other projects sililar to their sound.any suggestions?

Kinda weird to discuss both Autechre and Speedy J in the same thread, as they make very different kinds of music...
Anyway since most people have commented on Autechre I can comment on Speedy J. I think he makes awesome techno music... some tracks of his could sound very minimal but at the same time they're bangin' as hell, brilliant construction.  I find it weird that it seeems no other techno producers have gotten inspired by this style cause it's really cool. Listen to one of his mixes from start to finish, move yourelf into the trance and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Anthony Rother is much deeper then Speed J which seems like ordinary well sequenced techno to me.
By the way Autechre are the greates sound manipulators, some of their sounds simply cannot be analized. |

Phonem (a bit more ambient...)
Nautilus (Planet Mu)
Bogdan Razinsky (cant spell the last name right.. ;-/ )

Imo they are VERY different. Speedy J is fast techno, Anthony Rother is slow electro.
