Hi! I asked some help about this some time ago, but I couldn't find this music, so I posted it again maybe some could help and found out who is the artist.

That was my 1st ambient music I heard at it has been the best...

I had a copied cassette in 1998 but I don't know either the artist or the title.

It sounded like Pete Namlook but there are some mid tempo tracks which sounded like some psy-chill artist like carbon based lifeforms.
on 2nd side of the tape was a really great number: in the background there were children voices and it was like as they were on the street running and playing, there were laughing and then there were strange voices (maybe mutated/inarculated human voices) and in the forefront, the music was a slow, really heartbreaking piano-track, you know it was the most beautiful track which I've ever heard in my life.

The sound quality wasn't so good there were some tape haze...I had in early 1998 but it could be made in the early 90's.

If you know this artist/title please write it back to me.

Thx!

I know this track man, I'll try and dig it out, or maybe consult my friends and see what we can come up with...

i think i have the answer for this one
the track probably is:

tranquility bass: cantamilla

i don't remember their album's name but you can google it.
it's an amazing track. an all time favourite of mine released in the early 90's.
i have it on the "california dreaming" comp.

Unfortunately it's not Tranquility Bass Cantamilla...

That track what i'm looking for was chilling and really slow it was more like matt codrick & matt hillier's sound if I have to compare to... or some ambient artists it wasn't any rhythm or bass on that track.

There were other tracks on that tape i.e. the 2nd track was a typical early 90's rhytmic synthetizer sound like on klf chillout album but it was mid-tempo and not so happy (if i can write this).

But the one slow track was outstanding, it was a real significant track. That the track
you can recognize it, this was the highlight, others were good, but that was the best..

But thank you for your help!

darn it!

i started thinking that it probably wasn't the right one cause you were talking about namlook and tranquility bass is more upbeat.

maybe you should try to give more info about the track in question?

Hi!

So I can tell something about that type.. the other tracks..

1st track on side 1: It was a typical drifting chillout track..a soundscape (or whatever) you know like that tracks without any beats and maybe there were a thunder and rain which begins the 2nd number, but I'm afraid to write this because maybe I don't remember well (that's the reason why I'm speaking about just that slow number).

The 2nd track I wrote about before in this topic, that was a mid-tempo spinning typical 90's synthetizer, like on KLF - Chillout, or maybe I can compare to what you can hear on the beginning of Spacetime Continuum's Kairo track, but it was thicker, or deeper and slower. (it was a really good track), the effect was like it was bubling or spinning...

And on the end of side 1 or maybe on the beginning of the 2nd side there was a mid-tempo track with a deep bass, I think contain a thick (maybe 4/4) bass, it was the main sound of the track so you can hear it if you were in under water...and there were some bubbling if I'm right.

And there could be other tracks which didn't caught my mind...

And on the 2nd side of the tape was there the last track or the 1st or 2nd track before the last track was that piano track with children voices. it was like ghosts or something, it was like a horror movie but the piano was beautiful not like the dark ambient stuff I've heard. It has symphony not noises...

That's what I can tell about this cassette.

Who give me this cassette said it's Emmanuel Top, but it doesn't...

for me what you are describing evokes michael stearns "planetary unfolding"
except for the piano
a truely extraordany piece from many years ago
