was nice to meet you,yannick and marcia,and great to listen to your tunes:)
yeah,the 8 point sound:(we´ve been talking for a long time about 2 way linearray.the new nexo system is really nice, the setup just limits it a lot.is our way of trying to reduce noise pollution,but it get´s to the point where the dancefloor is too big for 8point.too loud near the speakers and not enough reaching the centre.also setting it up and equalising is very complicated.2 way would be so much easier and cheaper,but the 2nd floor would be blasted away if we keep the direction of the stage. maybe next year,would be so nice also to change the form of mainfloor.with 8 point we have to keep it round.

In my opinion 8 point with line array it does not really work. Since line array is designed for long throw purpose. for 8 point sort range speakers would do better job. line array has directional charecterstic with each band of frequencies, so in every distance the band of frequencies travel phase clashes with each other and it starts cancelling each other or adding up the sound..
for example in the center of the dancefloor hihatt was almost missing and in some parts of the dance hihatts was too loud.. only way to enjoy all the sound on the dance floor was to dance infront of one of the stacks.. but this way.. the stereo effect of the original music was completly missing..... and even one meter out side of the dance floor circle the music was complete disaster.
may be next year.. make line array 2 way system.. and put second stage where the back stage was.. facing other way.. this way.. people can dance out side of the dance floor as well.. and people can enjoy music almost every where..
i understand.. antaris works very hard on thier surround sound and is trade mark of the festival.. but lets face it.. it is much better with two way system .. for every body.
all in all thank u very much for such a wonderful festival and getting the goa family back together each year.

Still having a big smile on my face after the best Antaris i've ever been.. I feel like being home there,
and i simply love the fact that Antaris is growing, gettin better year after year, but the family touch is never missing! Well done all of you!
For me it's one of the best place to spend time during the summertime.
The best line up that i could expect.
It was a deep honour to select music on the second stage, please don't blow it away next year!!!
Anyway.. speeches about PA can be a neverending issue, i'm just asking myself how Antaris would be when the stages are chaging positions and forms.
This year in my opinion the 8 point on the main stage worked better than the past editions, qualitywise, and the circle has a deep meaning for dancing to me.
I just have different experiences with the line array system, and the technology is very interesting.
Line array has also a lot more of controlling on the music (my experience), and it's not said that it would bring more noise pollution.

Nexo is the bees knees for this type of setup and a i had an absolute blast playing the "alternative stage"
Next time i´d like to see that stage enlarged a wee bit as almost half the people were dancing outside the circle. The mainstage sound was not as coherent, but many times better than i expected from such a large circle. Also due to more space on that stage it was easier to find a sweet spot than on the alternative. Having performed A LOT during the past 10 years i can say that from a performers standpoint this is one of the best ones i´ve been to. 2 thumbs up from here (if i had more thumbs you´d see those too) hoping to come back next year.
