No the ones that should wake up is the audience. The Audience hold the key to the changes. If they keep putting money into the pockets of all the criminals and sharks then nothing will ever chamge. Apparently a lot of artists and DJ's are blinded by green dollar bills so dont expect them to change a thing.. They have sold their souls a long time ago.
You the audience that make the wheel's go round need to take action and once and for all show all the bozo organizers, dealers, pimps and whatever wannabee's that you had enough. But of course if it as usual in the psyscene end up in endless talk and talk..Then you all deserve what you got.

Sorry but i fail to see what this article has to do with this website and psy trance music.
After all Goa from the little i know from some friends of mine that live there has been destroyed for many years now and has become a tourists attraction and not because of the Russian mafia or whatever.

simple , russian mafia buys land , makes hotels , shacks , does parties , supplys drugs , makes money , gains a strong foothold .. then they have a foundation for their other more `dangerous` activities , arms , money laundering (for terrorist operations?) and so on ..

i mean- they might even be RIGHT and all but what a lurid peice of yellow journalism...

taking photos of a sign in russian as evidence of wrongdoing somehow?!?!?!
taking a photo of an "average rave party in goa" that somehow is supposed to associate our mind with russian criminal underground wrongdoing in India?!?!?!
the logical fallacies abound!
based on the rhetoric of this magazine, any ethnic group (i.e. brits for example) that has a strong presence in india and tourism of goa is suspect as organized crime?!?!?!?
what a load of crap. i find such writing to be in the worst tradition of smear tactics...
im not saying there is NOT russian mafia involvement anywhere on earth-
but i am saying that this article does not illustrate any evidence of wrongdoing but rather generally smears the Russian presence in India.
disgusting.
here's some examples - just random phrases printed on the 3rd page.
"Now Russians have edged out many other foreigners in the state.
Nearly 75 per cent of chartered flights coming into Goa are from Russia."
oooh ! im so afraid of the vast russian conspiracy!!!
therefore any russian seeking to buy land anywhere in india must be a part of this plot.

absolutely agree with ocelot here, when i was reading that article i was thinking the same. in fact, lots of articles like this appeared lately in indian press - stories full of false perceptions, wrong facts and accusations, written as if the author interviewed local gossipers and did not move further from that.
i like a saying that goa is a state of mind.
because goa as a place will never be the same again. i have no idea actually in which direction will goa develop. so lets remember the roots and move on : ))
goa is a hip place also for normal russians, consumers, not just party crowd - it is advertised on huge billboards in the city and i think every russian celebrity has been there already, all those charters are full.
system in india is so corrupt, no wonder it is such a fertile land for russian criminals or whoever buys land and real estate there in huge amounts or profits on sellig non-psychedelic substances to all kinds of wankers.

even though i got robbed by fake police at morjim sad scene couldnt do anything much,even though police caught me and my friends but that too was funny as they just took 350 bucks alltogether from 15 of us GOA IS GOA....dont think twice before going there....
awsome vibes and u also have to see the people keeping the place alive  ........rather than the ones fucking the scene...
goa cannot be replaced no matter what happens coz its TOOOOOOOO DAMN GOOD ......
