even i lived/worked in bangalore from 2006-07..
i was a witness 2 an atrocious 'bajrang dal' grp f activists busting a 'winter demon' party in the morning hrs...
itzz sad that a very 'cosmopolitan' like city is gettin transformed in2 a bin f vandalism... largely due 2 the cops n political goons n nuts who r also spoilin other cities n ruinin the 'psy' scene 4 freakzz like us..bangalore is past itzz 'prime' now....!!

I agree.. It was a very short lived prime.. Freakin hell they even destryed our beautiful Boulevard MG rd and turned it to a Boulevard of broken dreams trying to put up a elevated railway. That kind of sums the state of affairs in bangalore today.

I just love that rd for all that it has to offer.. Now try driving there 7 PM saturday evening and lets talk about that fukking railway line! True, MG rd was a killer place before they broke it up,. that pathway was awesome too... now i avoid goin towards MG rd coz of all the havoc there... also not just that rd they r diggin up all over town n chopping all trees, i also read in the paper that theres a tree choppin n sellin mafia workin in town... crazy... i guess they discovered why travel all the way to forest to cut trees when theres lot in the city only......

Man it's so frustrating to hear this "Tree chopin n sellin" mafia! Wow! With this politician - Police - Media nexus we are left powerless.. Even the envoirnment concerned NGO concentrate more on protecting forest areas. Bit off topic though! Anyways!!
About open air party busts - When there is a rule of no music on PAs after 10 pm i guess it's really stupid to go on partying in the open in the outskirts. We should ve learnt our lessons with the previous busts. The solution to this is not carry on partying but to petition in the right channels. That to is next to impossible thanks to the politician - Police - Media nexus! Who so you turn to??
I guess low key scenes in Goa are the only options an Indian psy head is left with today. As far as Bangalore goes club parties that end at 11:30 that too with a prayer that some fukked up sene bullshit does not interfere.
I was reading in the papers that a lot of hotels are hounding Mr Bidari the police commisoner to grant licenses to operate discotheques just hope that leads to something.
