one cannot come with accusation to the cops, they are doing their job by filling out orders. the accusations should come to the lawmakers and the legal system, they are the ones who dictate how the cops should enforce a particular law.

i for one dont see the point in doing something illegal to promote something that i want legalized. there are better ways to do things... making a marijuana day is a good idea in my opinion, but breaking the law on purpose in public isnt.

This event was approved by "Bagatz".
the cops could have arrested only the ppl who were found posessing drugs and not stop the whole event.           Majority is never right!

Agree 100% (wow we agree) surrender... people smoke in full public over and over again and still wonder why they get arrested.... not very intelligent (it's illegal even though we dont like it)

An event like this will only do one thing... Support those against legalising weed. All they see is stoned out druggies sweaying around in public.

Maybe if some people smoked less bongs a day and used their brains more active... then they would gain more support among lawmakers

Come on people, Get REAL “they” will not legitimize cannabis not for the next 10 years at least. Only the Nederland’s have such a progressive and liberal legislation, although you can smoke almost freely in Denmark, we are years from a change in peoples attitude towards cannabis, and that’s the only way you will be able to have enough political support in order to change to law. The reason I’m frustrated is not only the fact that cannabis is illegal, but the fact that alcohol which is a “drug” which is more dangerous then cannabis,is not illegal. I cant’ see the continuity in the law.

I agree Daniel. And to go out on the streets and smoke your brains out for sure wont change a thing

It will only support those who think that weed is bad!

See you soon mate

ppl live in a dream if they think that israel or another country will get into coffee shop business... it`ll never happen.
but legalizing canab as "pain killer" or to develope a deverse agriculture for fabric is another thing...
insted of using such a day to educate and show the authorities the huge posibilities in canab every one just tend the park with his own bag and lights up the bong!
i dont understand how ppl even thought that the police will alow such an event to take place.

n e way, im off to roll a small one

ye it's so frustrating the police here is above all, even bagatz - polizei uber alles.

yossi - nobody expect for coffee shops, only that police will not deal with people who consume canabis, like in many other countries.
how people thought the police would allow such event? well they allowed it the last 6 times before.
