Emotivision is, for me, the best psychill album for 2004. I really cant get over this album!
The uplifting spirit of Molecular Sunrise, the funkiness of Hash Bazaar ...oh man, you know you HAVE to keep writing music don't you??

maximum respect!           --- open the doors and let the music flood in ---

Many thanks for such enthusiasm about my tunes. I hope the second album takes all of you true Androcell fans to another level. I have 3 tracks complete so far.

Also, Celestial Dragon Recordings first compilation is coming up and 2 Androcell tracks - Fungus Garden (acoustic mix) and The Caribbeyond are defnitely in the tracklist. I hope to have permission to make a dedicated thread next week with title and tracklist/release details. Comprised of some of the best chill artists in the world, so I'm really looking forward to this.

Peace, dub, and happiness! Respect!!

Hello Quasga! It took me some time to get into your music, but now I'm really into it and don't want to come out I've already had some very special moments when I really get absorbed into the music and forget myself completely. I also included your track "Rapture of the Deep" to my dj-mix, adding speaking samples from enlightened Dave Oshana on top of it, and the result is (in my enthusiastic and ecstatic surprise) something very deeply touching. I would like you to hear it too, but he mix is in overall not so good, so I have to edit it in some way. Keep on doing this exciting, intense and beautiful music.

More about Dave Oshana -> http://www.enlightenment-now.com

My other new mix coming for download soon... will give you the address in my signature.

Love, (coz that's the essence of life)

Great to know you are having positive experiences with my music. Absorption is much the intent. I have no plans of quitting anytime soon and welcome you to link me to the mix for listening.

Thanks for your time, words, and support. Respect.

OK, I made the whole mix available since it seemed to be the easiest way. I just got rid of my obsession of making things perfect

So here you can find a link to the mix

I think it works quite nice if you're really relaxed...           http://musicandhappylife.blogspot.com/

Hey Soma,

I listened to the mix and enjoyed it. Thanks for adding me to the flow. I'll offer a small bit of technical advice about mixing in an outside voice source.... make sure you watch the low end frequencies on a male voice as it can tend to distract from the bass frequencies in the song it's being mixed with... I think the Dave Oshana samples sounded best in the Makyo track, when you used a little bit of delay on the voice.

Sorry, this is all getting off topic.

But thanks for the link.
Peace,

Thanx for listening, and for the advice. After that mix I've been using an effect called Echo Reverb, which makes almost any vocal sound nice and smooth. So when I finally get some fresh samples from Dave I can make a whole story of a mix based on a certain subject. I've also talked with Matt (Ishq) about making couple of ambient tracks using Dave Oshana's speaking, and make a special compilation out of that. Maybe you could be interested doing a track as well?

Anyway, Emotivision is getting better every day. At first I had some difficulties to relax to the tight beats in tracks 3,4 and 8, but finally it happened and they are now part of my flow as well. Great, great album, and a nice package indeed. So far the smiliest, most eupforic songs had been Plant Life, Hindu Kush, Rapture of the Deep, Track 1 & 2 and finally the sensitive ending track, Fungus Garden, bringing tears of ecstasy and gratitude to my eyes.           http://musicandhappylife.blogspot.com/

Hey Soma,

Thanks again for all your support and kinds words. I really wanted this music to connect with human consciousness, so I'm happy to see that it's working. Respect.

I'm really tied up with devoting my music energy towards getting another album together, but I'd love for you contact me offlist about aquiring some Dave Oshana voice tracks to see if I find anything to work into a track that would go on the album. Another individual did this with Robert Anton Wilson samples, and I'm giving him a credit for supplying them. I would do that same with you, if you want to send some my way and I use it.

well,

to be honest, in the first listens i didnt really like this album.

BUT

for some reason it kept urging me to play it again and i am really loving it now.

some very emotional moments, some familiar sounds used in unique ways , this one has it all.

im not too good at going on about albums i like...i prefer playing them on my sets...so my 2 cents is: give this album a bit of time, it is absolutely excellent!

rocccckkk onnnn!!!

I hear ya Depths of Despair...

This album has some really good tracks, but some go down better than others for me.

My faves are:

Plant Life (outstanding!)
Fungus Garden (!)
Hash Bazzar
Hindu Kush

I play Plant Life and Fungus Garden regularly, and they get a great response.

Werd, thanks d.o.d. and Brett.

Brett, a Fungus Garden (acoustic mix) will be out in May on the Celestial Dragon comp, Portal of Perceptions.

I hope my new material I'm working on is as well received.

Peace,
