@OzMike, that sounds like a brilliant combo. Proper oldschool way to go analog.
@aje, probably doing so soon, I think MFB will be announcing a new drum synth soon (NAMM perhaps?), so just waiting for that news first.
My friends got an Analog Rytm too, great machine, but way out of my price range.
@timetraveller. Electribe's are legendary machines, probably why they revamped it once more with the new models.
This is another one that's probably been under the radar since it's a DIY project...

Thanks Yidam, it's just a wee bit hard to use live so it's mainly a studio workhorse.
I'm currently tossing up between going the 606 vibe with Acidlab's Drumatix or building a eurorack dedicated drum system based around the Mutant drum modules from Hexinverter.

Sure it's not analog but I don't get why ppl pay so much for the 909 & 808 sound when you can get the TR-8 for a great price and it's an awesome drum machine. I've tested against a friend actual 808 & 909 and the sounds great with some added functions that make live performance simple.
I bought my TR-8 at Xmas sales and won't need another drunk machine for such sounds. Only my DRM I MK III which is completely different sound wise & maybe the Mutant modules from Hexinverter. No need for the Drumatix I realised.
