clubber/raver:
1.wants to entry as cheap as possible(free would be the better for him AND his friends.
2.wants to drink everything for free.
3.wants to use substances without anyone over his head.
4.wants to have perfect soundsystem/lightshow/gogo dancers/dwarfs with rollerskates and silverscreens full of cocaine pure crystal quality on their heads around the club

club owner:
1.he would sell 250 eyros the drink if possible.
2.he would stop the party at 4:30 to go to sleep
3.he wouldnt allow to clubers even to smoke cigarretes and throw the ashes down.

party organizer:
1.the best would be for him toplay himself all night long
2.with 763 eyros entrance
3.and to have his home speackers and portatif as club instaltions
4.in the club that would be free of charge.

as you all undersatand, none of these is possible.find your limits, draw your lines, accept what you want to accept and refuse to be victims.nothing comes for free, unfortunatelly we have to make many compromises.or else, get your 20 friends, rent some sound,,there are plenty of forests and beaches in greece with no one over your head..

(please dont misunderstood me.i am with the clubbers here, but lets not want everything for our selfs.everybody is free to make his decisions,BUT he is also totally responsible for those )

jedi my friend,i agree but it is another subject.having a whatever license or stealing the eforia, has nothing to do with the way they treat to the clubbers.

I didn't say something like this.
I gave an answer to detox about who doesn't realy respect the law.
And is also connected with the problematic behavior that i said in the first place because when you are tottaly illegal you will have the police every time over your head (even if you serve coffee and tosts) and also your working crew will be the worst of the kind and propably gangsters who have nothing to lose and especialy who can't get a legal job!
Am i clear know?

To Detox:
We are not criminals or "burned" people.
Don't undervaluate us. We don't go to a party just only to smoke joints. The gangster crew you are using are braindead and always stoned even if they don't smoke joints...
We deserve something better and if you can't provide it to us it doesn't mean that it doesn't exist or we won't find it....

i tend to disagree with that way of thinking
"hey ,he is illegal,so we can be illegal too"
i see yourt points about the problematic behavior, but if they have the police over their heads is their problem, not ours.           Signature:

Or probably because few clubs respect the party people and the laws of this country...
When you have a license for a CANTEEN how you become a BEACH CLUB?
When you don't have any counter or a cash register how you protect (or respect) your clients?

I think that these are so important issues in order to have a safe party in a club and ofcourse it is promoter responsibility to find a safe club for the ppl.
Personally i have been to many party's and many places for over 14 years now and i have seen a lot of bad things with consequences for the ppl and for the promoters also.
we have to be carefull over here
I think also what Detox is saying about strict security and completely freedom situations has a point.
Though i believe and noticed that if you are in the middle it works nice.
So...we need security with a smile on the door, polite, professional(so much important),but also capable in finding these persons that wants to get rich by drug dealing treating them as they deserve.
Last or first... ppl you want to smoke a joint do it right or don't do it at all...
If someone thinks he is at home he will go home for sure not because its right because there are no options

It mostly has to do with the mentality of the people that attend the trance parties in greece specific. I am living in copenhagen for some months now and i attended many parties in different clubs. Everything works fine, entrance fees are cheaper than greece but the drinks are not included . An example : this saturday iboga label party , 2 stages 3 live acts and 8 dj set with entrance price 170dkr ( 22euros) drink not included. Around 40-50 dkr per beer though (5-7 euros!) Consider that min salary here is around 8.000dkr (1000euro)
Generally smoking is not allowed in ANY club or public place here so smoking joints inside a club is an old joke. But you can easily go out and do anything you like.
Thing here is that everybody respects the laws. The club owners, the party organizers and people attending the party. If a clubber cross the line( and lines are thin here.. ) they will kick him out without second word though. Generally you really enjoy your time being in a party since not so many substances all over the club(atleast you dont notice it). Sound is fantastic in most of the clubs, djs are giving their best and everybody is happy
I am attending parties in greece from '96-'97 till '08 (few parties per year after 2001) and guys...... its just the greek mentality. I dont think that nothing will ever change. Party promoters want to win a lot and give shit and clubbers to give shit and get everything.
Its just a vicious circle

It's our problem too because they stoped the live of Yotopia and because they were very negative about everything. It's not only my opinion but it is also Tomer's(Yotopia) too:

"tottaly agree ....
athens scene deserves a better place that would welcome the people & this culture as it should !
great croud , happy people with positive energies , but surrounded in walls of prejudice
one thing that has to be said : despite the stop of our live & the situation at the place and outside ..."

And imagine that before this party at Athens they were playing at Livanos where bombs are droping and they have war and NOBODY stoped them from their live p.a...
So for Yotopia we are worst than Livanos...!

Congratulations Athens!!!!!!!

P.s.:I think i want to live in Africa...

I'm agree with nurb in most of his post
BUT I'm not agree with the thin lines if I want to have fun and drink a lot and dance if I pay I deserve it I don't say to smath everything but for those who knows for club in others countries they have clubbers-robots with orders, here in greece it has to do with the mentality as nurb said we want them all very cheap or free kai ama katsi na pioume kai kana bafo.EDO OMOS LEME STOP here we want real rules. So better behaviour from the clubbers and better organisation from the owners but better organisation without the style ''elate paidia oti konomisoume simera'' the classics greeks           subcode crew

gouria kangouria

we live in Greece and this wont change

mafiozo kantinierides kai kolobarades

no one is allowed to be treated like that

security dummies can go back to their gyms and their ephedrins
and club owners can continue their "mainstream" events with kyrile poutanitses sniffin their coke , without bothering

psytrance people are still taboo-zombies to them , so their are to our eyes

greek neo-culture IS THE SHIT ...
