A recent purchase of mine:

Move D + Benjamin Brunn – Let's Call It A Day
http://www.binemusic.de/epages/61523983.sf/en_US/?ObjectPath=/Shops/61523983/Products/BINE011CD

So delicate and atmospheric. Recommended!

You can listen to the whole thing on that page ( with short pauses ).

Great for headphones dives, and if not with headphones, it really requires a quiet environment in order to appreciate.

Cheers!

Nice compilation from Entropy Records:

http://www.entropy-records.com/release003.htm

From the site:
"Gargantuan genre compilations featuring mostly unknown artists are risky propositions. They leave themselves open to accusations of being vanity projects or acts of foolish charity: so big and sprawling that they include too many tracks that really should have been left on the cutting floor, editing down the set to a lean one or two discs; or as expressions of well-meaning but misguided altruism, seeking exposure for as many new, independent artists as possible, planting such a big forest it´s impossible to see the trees. Both risk making the compilers appear to suffer from delusions of grandeur.

There is of course a third alternative and that is that the compilers are right. To provide a fair overview of the state of a particular art, as is the case with Entropy´s triple-disc set Wired Thoughts, a wide variety of artists deserve to be showcased and furthermore, given the nature of the genre in question, ambient dub/dub techno, each deserves to be heard at length, as the average piece usually stretches out for six or seven minutes."

^ Agree with you there. Marconi Union's Tokyo is a great album indeed.

I can't get the flash player to work here at work, so will try again at home...

My pleasure Gunter

How do I find so much good music you ask, well, I guess one find just leads to another and so on. . .

I can tell you that usually if I like a certain album cover I will also check the music. In a lot of the cases the music will be beautiful too

Also check out my two latest recommendations here:

Sven Schienhammer – Altostratus Translucidus

great album by Sven Schienhammer aka Quantec featuring ultra deep atmospheric ambient dubtechno sound released by BineMusic
http://www.discogs.com/Sven-Schienhammer-Altostratus-Translucidus/release/2951037

Also, latest output from DeepChord "Hash-bar Loops" is totally worth checking out for more dubtechno vs ambient and field recordings deepness. Released by Soma

ambient techno is one guy for me: vataff project

almost no vataff songs on youtube. kalitz and dvabrakia are better examples, but this is good enough i guess

Vataff Project is amazing, would love to know what kind of instruments are used to get those strange sounds.

more to check out:

Brilliant netlabel for both Techno and Dub/Techno sound... fans of Sustainer and Zzzzra will love this. Personal favourite is the one EP by Japanese producer Absolute Time.

++++ for anything released by Move D...his many collabs with Pete Namlook are epics of the ambient genre.
