Ambient / Chill Out Scene In Israel

i wonder why there is no scene for ambient and chillout music in israel
we got in israel some amazing projects such as Shulman, J.Viewz, Violet Vision and many more that make top notch music and preforming world wide
but from some reason these artists almost never preform in israel
now its winter time and all of the parties are in clubs anyway, every weekend there are at least 4-5 psytrance parties in clubs in tel aviv
and not even one club hosting a ambient act
and also in festivals, all over the world there are chillout stages in psytrance festivals, and here its very rare to see a decent chillout stage in a festival
i wonder why it is like that?
is it about the crowd amount? not enough people like this music here? |

There is a scene, still it's very small... and yet there are no chill stages in the big Israeli festivals and no chill artists at all at any kind of psy trance rave... which is a shame cause as you noticed we have remarkable artists such as Shulman, J viewz, Capsula, Zero Cult, Violet and a few more...
btw, there's going to be a very impressive lineup on the P*F fest.. |

well i think u can see by the number of the replies to this post in 11 days that its a crowd problem 
but im optimistic...i feel that the psychill,idm..etc sence is growing from year to year...its just the israely common delay problem..the artists whom got tired from the trance formulas will start to fall from the trees in few years...

mates..i think that israeli chill scene id getting bigger ..there are great ambinet/chill and dub israeli artists and dj's..but the problem is that the crowed isnt realy asking for this kind of event even thighu im sure that it could be a great sucsses.
if you guys can tell me for sure that there are 100 ppl who are willing to attend this kind of event im taking on my self to orgenise such an event..waht do u think?

amotz_t, if the right artists would come i'm sure you can gather even more than 100 peepz, the big international names like Shpongle / Younger Brother and less popular Blutech / Shulman / Abakus / Entheogenic / Kick bong J.viewz..etc.. can attract lots more |

Guys..as i said ..one of my dreams is to orgenise a realy cool weekend..tents, cool ppl, good vibes and the all the rest (:
dont worry about the music and the musicans.
There are great israeli artists that would love to play as well as some great artists from aboroad..the music part i can handle..but i need someone that can produce and promote such an expreince..if anyone thinks he can help than contact me (:

thats true mate..ill see you there on the chill stage ill be playing on sunrise
from 6 am till 9 am
and i dont think that this is a dead scene but i do think that ppl need 2 know that they can realte to the chill scene as a scene and not as a side dish..
all around the world every big festival has a chill stage and i think that ppl enjoy the relaxing mode and i think that in israel ut can be trnslated to a small comunity www.myspace.com/amotz

i think that a lot of people like this music and we got a lot to offer
i am teching in bpm chill and dub , and i can say people are open to it.
there is always good mind for it. the thing is we need more places and more people attan. it will come with time i believe.
some of us play a lot out side of israel, and well known in our style, but here our other projects is more known(trance,tech etc..).
we do this style because we love it, not only because we want to play it

about moksha in purim..i think that there are a few conclusions.
1-ppl in israel love to chill and they love chill out music..
2-next time dont put the equipment so close to the pool or any water source..the israeli chillers somtimes forget that water and electricity dont feet together (:
3-i must admit that the chill out dj stage was far from perfect but im very proud that moksha decided to put the chill stage that was playing all along and gave a an extra for the event..(:

On the other note, for past 3 years I've been going to Europe for the summer, Primarily for the chill stages @ festivals.
