So what do you guys think? Are we ready for ET contact? Are YOU ready? Like if open contact was established with some alien amigos that mean good tomorrow (hopefully), honestly, would you personally be ready? Or is this something that you rather would not happen yet. Ofcourse, we are never ready for a lot of things in life but sometimes life pushes us in this direction anyways.

Well I think contact with an alien civilization would completely make us rethink just about everything on earth. Even our spirituallity would be expanded to a new horizon possibly beyond anything that we may have previously thought about and that is why I am posting this on the spiritual section. Our concepts of time and space could be totally changed as well. Like just imagine what can be out there RIGHT NOW? I get a psychedelic trip just thinking about this. Because it’s real, REAL, sooo deliciously real and mind blowing.

I say this real because IMHO once you really think about what could be out there eventually you reach the conclusion that we are most likely not alone and that there are probably countless civilizations out there like ours and more advanced. But why is this subject thought off as weird and crazy or even on the realms of superstition for so many people? You know there is a big argument for alien life out there. And that is our living planet which is full of life everywhere against the zillions of planets out there in this very old universe. So the possiblities are infinite as far as I can see.

Like just to get a bit of perspective, so you can see what I am talking about, take a look at this 6 minute video (its awesome):

So to me, the question is not weather we are alone. That question is DONE. Because you start to think about it with a full open mind, and you soon see that the possiblities far out number the non possiblities. And yeah, eventually you come to the conclusion that the obvious has been staring us in the face for centuries.

Just on planet earth scientists estimate there may be like 100 million different species of living organisms. You can find life in the most extreme conditions, without sunlight or in the bottom of the sea near hot magma in boiling temperatures or the arctic ice. We have whales with horns, incredible birds, fascinating insects, bacteria and microorganisms of all kinds. All type of stuff you could not even imagine. Scientists are now saying that there may be a lot of living forms that could be right under our noses which we have failed to recognize as life because they are so unusual. So from looking at this planet you can conclude that life is kind of creative and can be extremely adaptive to all types of conditions.

So now throw in trillions of possible galaxies and planetary systems out there into the equation and then the chance that somewhere a civilization figured out space travel at some point in the history of this ANCIENT universe and it does not really seem like that unlikely. Or does it? Because the huge space distances can become irrelevant if there is some physics that can overcome this by who knows (bending time, travelling through dimensions, or whatever you can imagine). Yeah they may be millions of light years away from us but they may also be billions of years more advanced than we are. So who knows what an alien civilization can do and we should not limit them by our own primitive science and understandings of what can be done or not. Not that many hundreds of years ago we still thought the earth was the center of the universe, but we were kind of wrong. Like no kidding, hehe

So putting things in perspective, when people talk about seeing UFOs, to me it doesn’t sound irrational. Of course this does not mean all ufo sightings are aliens. But the idea is not irrational. Like sure, billions of galaxies out there… yeah why not.

So the question to me is weather there are aliens here on earth visiting and who they are. Or more about where we humans fit in all this cosmic story and where we are in regards to accepting this issue. But this is our new frontier. Like do we belong to a greater community of civilizations out there? MIND BLOWING idea, I mean imagine the music they listen too!!! This is so real, or you think music is only for earth? Seriously: open up your mind and your eyes. I can imagine that maybe there are possibly countless civilizations that have gone through this process that we may be going thought where we eventually finally break out of the shell and accept that greater reality and join some kind of intergalactic community of civiliaztions that are in touch with each other. There may be good and bad folks out there, and just about everthing you can think off and MUCH MORE. Imagine what is out there? My mind can’t help not going there? Its just so exiting don’t you think? Imagine that this could happen in our life time. I believe so or at least I want to believe. A lot of people point out that it’s a step in counsciousness that will take us to finally establish contact, and that it’s all possible already because we ARE spiritual multidemensional beings and its really up to us weather we want to open that door and finally hatch from our baby shell. Though I don’t think we can keep that door closed forever, it’s like trying to cover the sun with your finger. Eventually the reality will just show itself in one way or another, so we might as well take the plunge.

I don’t know, its fun to at least imagine. And even if people say that it’s all our imagination I will still believe, you know I want to believe. I feel that maybe its part of who we are. Like there is a GREAT STORY that needs to be told and we will remember our heritage and expand our wings into many new dimensions. We may have family out there in the universe. Alien people that relate to you and that will help us understand who we are and where we come from. Maybe we evolved from the same source. It’s just so exiting to go in that direction, and I feel that the more curious we are the more we start breaking the shell and opening up that galactic door.

Even if it’s just our wishful thinking, that in itself may be just what we need to break the shell. This quote from Buddha says it well:

“Our theories of the eternal are as valuable as are those which a chick which has not broken its way through its shell might form of the outside world.”
-- Buddha

I love to stare at the night sky and think about all the possibilities out there. That video was really good- cheers! I'll be thinking a lot harder next time haha.

Personally i think i would be ready to make contact with aliens, i believe i already have during dmt/ psilocybin experiences, and think i would be ready in this dimension too. however i don't think our civilization as a whole will be ready for a VERY long time, which is why i don't think aliens will ever come and land on earth as such. i think they already ahve their methods of contacting us, and i think those methods are available in a way which means that the people who are ready can use them, whereas those who arn't prepared do not have to face them yet. very interesting subject though!

My opinion:
Space: Hugely interesting subject
Alien life: Definitely

We are the aliens...

I don't believe in other alien life forms except mankind.

We don't communicate properly with ourselves why should we communicate with others?

One step every time...

just because we can't communicate with ourselves properly doesn't eliminate the possibility of alien life... it just explains why a possibly superior race might not want to make proper contact with us yet...           Projection makes perception. With our way of life we eliminate our existence and the possibility of everything else to happen.

We must find our way back home...

And we should not search far way but very close and especially INSIDE us...

I hate when we create a space program with a budget of billions just to find out that there is water on Mars and we let hundreds of humans to die from thirst and starvation...
I just can't accept it...
I just don't care about other life forms when we have forgotten ours...

That's my point of view...

i completely agree with you mate, but i also believe that aliens exist. just because our race is so completely messed up that doesn't mean it's impossible that another planet might contain life too. i think that when we have sorted our selves out as a race and abolish the monetary/ power systems etc that rule earth then the aliens may well start to show themselves.           Projection makes perception. I'd be surprised if there wasn't any alien life. There's such an immense number of stars, galaxies and celestial bodies out there, it's inconceivable for a mere human. An infinite number of worlds = infinite possibilities = aliens!

I am convinced that there are infinite civilizations out there regardless their advancement. I wish that I will be able to have a contact before I live my current genetic space suit.

The fact that so many people claim that we are the only existent and intelligent life form inside the infinite universes, in this tiny little blue planet, is the greatest proof of a gigantic in proportion ego, insecurity, narrow minded thinking or extremely effective brain washing for generations.

I would say that common sense is just what is needed these days, not for anyone to believe necessarily that there are intelligent forms of life in other planets besides ours but only for not to reject the possibility of it.

But on the other hand, common sense is commonly absent.
A friend told me once that the biggest mistake we make is that we believe we live, when in reality we are sleeping in the waiting room of life.

if the universe is full of life then nothing matters..i believe that it is full of life so much that we cannot comprehend it. our definition of life does not match with that of the universe..we dont know what the universe defines life as..we know what we define life as..but to look at the universe from our death fearing nature compels us to believe that universe is full of life...we like to give universe a human touch-hence we like to hear "universe is full of life" is it life really or just some electromagnetic waves that collide and as a reaction mutants like us emerge then another static release of energy and we submerge then we go round round we think our thought lives but our thought is just a shock wave. its like the wassabi root---shred it put it on sushi get a kick in your head and then crunching crushing body becomes carbon...just a particle. and if you believe that particles carry life then you must also believe that dead donkeys like to kiss mermaids and keeping a laptop on your thighs can cause hernia and that you can die...and then you die and go someplace which you dont know or probably you go nowhere..i dont know...the truth is we humans like life and like to believe that life can go on on and on..and to suppliment this belief we want or wish that the Universe is full of life. we make assumptions..its nothing but Hope. Hope creates expectations, and then the story of life can go on forever as its impossible to meet expectations..hence The Great Expectations.           When death comes to your doorstep, make sure you are alive

To even just think that we are all alone in this big fat universe and that we are the intelligent most is the most arrogant/egoistic thing u can do...           ?

And being absolutely sure that there is other life in the universe is equally ridiculous.           You believe in the users?
Yeah, sure. If I don't have a user, then who wrote me?

Im more than 100% sure there is... n not just this universe, prolly in many other universers and parallel universes... and also in different dimensions/planes in different forms... and i feel its not ridiculous in any way at all...           ?

If you can't prove something's existence empirically, how is absolute certainty in something possible? But I guess we could get into the messy "existence is subjective" thing here.           You believe in the users?
Yeah, sure. If I don't have a user, then who wrote me?

Actually Kane you are way off. It is my understanding that most scientists agree that the probability of life elsewhere in the universe is like 99.999%, its basically a given. Now what about intelligent life within our very own milky way galaxy? That is maybe a more interesting question. Because life in the universe as a whole? Even if life were extremely extremely extremely rare the possibilities of life on another planet would still be very high because the universe is so big. And that’s from what we can observe with our primitive human telescopes and science.

And there is also the posibility that we live in a multidimensional universe and that there are parallel universes as well like acidhead points out.
