Strong line up just with the fact that there will be Logic Bomb all the people who lives in New York should be there plus Tranan and Anthony are going to play also, on the other hand is really nice see to Zion

Wishing be there!           Michael Jackson "Some people prefer to take life as it is without complications, some others we like to take life from the cornice of the wildest jungle"

hats off to Alladin project as the hardest-working psy-trance crew in NYC all year round! on this party, however, i will go against the flow here to say I am quite disappointed with the line up. A couple of DJs from Sweden and the rest just local dudes!? Severin's aweful, recycled posters. Second floor of a mediocre club? AND for the same price as Goa Gil last year? Doesn't exactly make for a special New Year's atmosphere... Does anyone share my opinion?

WHAT??? a couple of Djs from Sweden??? were u just born last year??? came on man!!! do not talk like that about the A COUPLE of djs from sweden...as u said

and from my opinon the NY scene has some very talented local DJs which i think u already dance to the music they play soo dont complain...

Gee, maybe the local NY community just wants to celebrate the holiday together, and doesn't mind hearing their FRIENDS, the "local dudes," performing with the likes of Logic Bomb and SRange.

May I suggest you return to whichever country is represented by that strange red flag and support your own local scene and stop bothering us here in New York? Kthnx.

May I suggest you stop recommending migration(the strange red flag is Albania) based on opinions (key word here) you hear on an online forum? Given that he was only stating his opinion and looking for like-minded support, the only people bothering anyone is you guys picking on entheo.
I personally think Logic Bomb and especially S-Range are pretty lame too. I really love Severyn's art though, and i'm surprised to hear anyone say this. I guess his artwork gets boring after a while since its hanging up at most parties for a while now(NYC Deco-Artists, where art though?), but to call it "aweful, recycled, posters" is a slap in a face to a person who has dedicated so much time and energy to improve and enrichen our psychedelic experiences.
I was totally disappointed by this lineup as well, which is why I'm not going(although the open-bar seems enticing) but I wish a happy new year and the best party spirits to everyone that does.

We are all visitors to this time, this place. We are just passing through. Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to love... and then we return home.

Thanks, Liquid-Vision. The point of my comment was not to "trash" or disparage anyone, but to provide constructive criticism. I am just a bit disappointed with the level of frankness of the discussion on this board. Alladin Project throws over a dozen parties each year and not all of them turn out that succesfull--simply because they can't, every promoter has his hits or misses. Yet you go to the discussion board and every single party is a "kick-ass" and a "blast". I would like to see more people not be afraid to express an alternative opinion. I don't believe hearing a chorus of always uncritical, easy-to-please party-goers is conducive to improving our trance scene (there is always room for improvement) It does not provide the objective criticism the promoters need to grow.

As for Severin's banners, I think Severin is a great artist and I love his work. However, since his banners were stolen a couple of years ago, he hasn't been able to reproduce the quality of his old stuff. I was struck to see a couple of his decos nothing but prints of his t-shirts designs stamped sloppily over a white screen. And yes, we'be been seeing them at just about every Alladin party recently. I can't help feeling like I am at a home after-party put together the last minute.

A New Year's party should be different, I believe, just like the last one with Goa Gill, when they brought the work by a Canadian artist.

This is just some of my input, which I hope can stimulate a healthy and constructive discussion at this forum.
