No be happy !!! It was a pure waste of sleep and money !! this party was pure torture ... also what was up with this guy with his supersize sunglasses taking millions of pictures and annoying the hell out of everyone and the 5 dollar hotdog stand next to the bathroom, hahaha.... |

Hi party people,
First we would like to say thanks to all the people that helped making this party happen.
The deco was fantastic, very high quality sound, cool people with great costumes.
Second we would like to apologize for the securities that were hooligans and barbaric, we presently had a big fight with them, and be sure that we are never going to work with these securities again. All our parties never close before the time that we publish on the flyer, and for this party we had one extra hour. In some point of the night the neighbors complained about the music and cops came, so we lowered it for an hour, in order to prevent the police from closing the party. We are sure that most of the people that were there had fun except a few, like always.
As you all know it’s very hard to do trance parties in NYC till late, most of the parties close 7AM some times at 6AM, and so it’s very hard to find a venue that will fulfill the trance crowd demands.we are trying to do our best to make the trance scene grow bigger in NYC.
We will upload Halloween party pictures very soon...
Next party will be on November 18th with
OLLI WISDOM in CLUB EXIT,

I definatly would not go so far as to say this was the worst party ever! I for one had a very good time in spite of the asshole security (I didnt get the worst of them though, it sounds like). I thought the music was great and since I saw the cops outside before the music got turned down I figured that was the reason. When it was up at full volume I thought the place sounded great. The deco was beautiful too. I dont see the big deal about the photographer with the glasses, he seemed like a nice felllow and he didnt get all in my face with his camera or anything, I thought he seemed quite professional. I wouldnt want something like this at a party normally but halloween is different because of the costumes.
Anyway Im not going to discount anyones bad experience- if you say what you experienced was that bad then I believe you, and there is no excuse for an organizer blowing off someones valid complaints, but as for myself I had a fine old time at this party. I'll definatly be at their next party! Am I the only one who had a good time?
BTW: I refused to pay the $5 for coat check, just left it hanging over a chair and it was fine...

Personally, a different timing should have been chosen, with Paranormal Attack playing before Stella, and then Uriel and Knob. The change from Uriel to Xangaii ruined the party for me. But the party was very nice with killer deco and funny costumes until Xangaii starts playing some really weird tracks (my own opinion).
Regarding the guy with supersized sunglasses, oh hell it is halloween...he was actually a nice guy, later he dropped his camera to dance like crazy... and the security and the kids with glow-stickes sucked big. |

Werd... I think finding venues that will go late in NYC is one of the hardest parts of throwing parties here. Once alchohol stops being served, the venues make way less money.
Nothing you can do about noise complaints but turn down the sound; people just need to understand that. Once the cops show up, the sound needs to get turned down further then it would be if the levels are managed all night... sucks.

Here is a note for the organisers.....its a good thing and obvious that you will never throw parties in Goa.  ..Because chutia organisers like you will get a bit of the Goa treatment..  .if you can't make everyone feel secure at your parties especially-WOMEN who lend that great energy to all parties you are not men for sure!!! And especially, how low can you (organisers) get when you are charging to attack my wife at the party and your own security has to keep you back....lucky for you she called security!
this is it people, a perfect example of idiots on the trance scene so be it ...THROW your stupid parties and enjoy them yourselves and in due time you will be the only one dancing on the stage...or the floor..because this is your fate!..and the music is not even worth my criticism hahahahahahhha.. .Good for you this is NY and not anywhere else 'cos forget throwing parties you won't be allowed in one!

Overall, although I thought the music was pretty stupid for the most part, (except Stella rocked it, I would have slotted her later in the night, but that's just my taste) but it was a good party. To go so far as to say it was "the worst party ever" is pretty unfair. I've been to some bad parties, and that wasn't one of them.
I didn't experience the suckurity, but aside from that and the music, it was a good party. The deco made the place look fantastic. The sound was good - balanced, well rounded and powerful. It's extremely rare to have sound indoors that is that loud and still be able to hear the music without it hurting the ears. The reality of where we are now is that when neighbors complain and police come, you have to turn the volume down at least for a while. Can't let that totally ruin your trip.
The energy on the dance floor was good. Lots of people having fun was what I saw, myself included. Yeah there was some weirdness around the back perimeter, but that should be expected when you're at a club in Brooklyn. That's why I like to be in the sound field. There certainly were other spaces to retreat to without those unwanted elements. Some of the costumes were funny/crazy/trippy... pretty good. The camera guy made me laugh.

Uau.... did we all been to the same party?? 
Because after reading this i got serious doubts.... 
I had a lot of fun and in my opinion was a beautiful party!!!  I can't call it perfect.... but for the most part it was a very special night.... now i know it there were some things not right (the CLUB security  , the sound being lowered because the POLICE was outside , ....) but how much can be under an organizer control at the same time?  i still think that Alladin project crew is doing a great job in keeping the trance scene in NY real... or am i the only one seeing the beautiful decos  , the good dj's  , all the smiling faces that are always present in the dancefloor  ... and on top of all that.... the effort made by this people so we can keep having nice parties ...?? so why don't we all start looking at the half full side of the cup?? 
Once again.... thanks Alladin Project for one more KARAHANA party... and i'll be @ exit for sure on nov 18th !!

I certainly wouldn't say this was the worst party ever. I actually had a lot of fun! Shady people can only take so much of trance and it's craziness and they tend to leave everyone else be. It was quite surprizing and a bit dissapointing when the sound was lowered and I could actually HEAR people dancing but I knew there had to be a good reason. It seems I too avoided a lot of the griminess that plauged the party, I stayed mainly on the dance floor and I'm not a good-looking woman so I guess I was safe. People kept tugging on my trunk though, after a while, it got a bit tiring. The guy with the camera was actually very nice but the kid with the glowsticks started to annoy me a little. Overall, I was surrounded by freinds, smiling faces and there is nothing like dancing throught the venue and seeing a teletubbie, cap'n trance, angels/devils, faries,forest foragers, Bender, Hunter S. Thompson, furry hoopers, french and swedish maids balancing buckets of candy on thier heads, chiefs, cowgirls, astronauts...in other words, thanks AP. You guys did a great job. |

either someone was handing out some very bad acid, or we went to two different parties .. well, to each his own ..
.. security was a little overbearing, but otherwise, sound was great, the music ranged from decent to kick ass, and there was space ! nice largish floor, and some decent deco .. also, not the circus of lights that most exit parties end up with, nice and black lighty dark ..
knob was cracking, stella warmed up at the end and uriel was really good, paranormal was ... well, i wasnt expecting too much and was pleasantly surprised ..
pretty crazy party ... paagal power .. |

NeuroNympho, you had the best costume at the party  I think I even told you that a few times....Sorry for tugging on your trunk (i only did it twice) it was really cute and fluffy that's why. |
