Just got home and the first thing I need to do is to say how discusting this party was. I was looking forward to this event for over a month, but in reality I should have stayed home.

A few words to Alladin Crew:

What's with a security not doing their job???? How come my girlfriend and other ladies, who by the way go to trance parties regurarly, were pathetically harrased by some drunk polish skinheads (a bunch of them were sitting and a few dancing by the stage) and nobody did shit about it? And when asked politely to leave us alone, became more agressive in their action. We had to leave the party earlier because we were actually afraid for our safety. What the fuck was that? And when we complained to the security, nobody did anything. As it appears all those assholes where friends with security guards so you can see how protected we felt.......And some of my friends approched El Nadiv in regards to the harrasment and the only answer we got was "Breach of security"...what kind of lame answer is that???? You're the organizer, you should control all those things, if you can't control it, then don't organize any events at all.
Nobody should be afraid for their safety at a trance party, that's the whole idea of this kind of parties. I've been in the trance scene for 7 years and this is the first time i see this kind of shit.
I've also been a big supporter of all your parties even when other people complained about your prices and money making ways and I attended pretty much all of your parties since you started out here in NY.....but with that rediculous answer and inability to do anything you guys lost me, im not attending anymore of your parties. I can live with artist not showing up or overpriced ticket, or parties closing earlier, but this went beyond my limits....

People who read this forum, I apologize for such a lenghty post, but I just need to get it out of my system and let everybody know what happened.

I was also going to say a few words about the sound, which practically went dead during the Paranormal Attack set and didn't really picked up until Knob's set. You guys lost about 30% of people because of that drastic change. And I don't care if the neighbors complained (supposetely an answer received from Alladin Crew) , you should have known better with what sound to start....because you can't bring the volume down after you set the stage at a certain level...I personally know a bunch of people for whom their trips and journeys were ruined.

Again I'm really sorry about such a long comment and I don't mean to sound like a pissimist, but I think a few of you can share the same frustration as we did y-day.

I would have to agree. Apart from the over priced coat check and tickets, annoying meatheads etc, the party itself seemed to lack something, perhaps a soul. It was difficult to get out of second gear. Everythng seemed repetative and average, without any injection of life that an organizer who cares would give the whole thing. The sound was dead and for the most part the dj's had no notion of flow or building a set. (Knob excluded- we had left)
You have to be really selective with which parties you go to nowadays.

Actually I think the vibe, the sound and the music were great, and then paranomal got on the stage and killed it (not in a good way)           <^><^><^><^><^><^><^><^><^><^><^><^><^><^><^>

as the greatest mulla nasreddin would say: 'trance music is what we have', time and place is what we choose...
this time our choice was wrong

Knob saved the night in my opinion. At the time he was playing, I could see all the familiar smiling faces all over the place! I finally felt safe and could enjoy! It was really cool to see trance people were in their unique costumes. I couldn't even tell who was who... hehehe I had fun.

One complaint: $5 coat check was extortion... No?

Ichirock - Good to hear that at least some of us enjoyed the party I wish I could say the same.
Can't really say that Knob saved the night for me, simply because the night was completely ruined before he started playing. He played good, but the mood was not the same anymore.

It was one of the weirdest (or even worst) parties for me. It started out great...nice deco, a bunch of familiar smiling faces, but then it turned into a complete disaster. What the fuck happened with the sound? This part alone killed the whole night for me, not to mention the unnecessary grabbing and touching by some individuals who didn't really belong at the party and those drunk meatheads contstantly harrased ladies from our group as well. As it turnes out we were not the only ones cought up in this shit. It's not Avalon, how the fuck did this happen? Why didn't security do anything about it?
I have a feeling I won't get a fair answer to my questions, so I'll just stop complaining and move on.

I guess TDC is the only solid and consistent production left in NYC....I pretty much gave up on everybody else.

ups , I am not suprised at all.Since old owner left ,new one dont have a :reputation: to put a strong (not just looking strong ) and willing to do something security crew. When we were complaining about crew from exit (creature in glasses ) at least they couldnt jump on your head w/o a reason ,since they know they are watching and since club Exit is a big shoot in the community ,not like Hypnotic (bunker ,ice ,point before) where security crew is a bunch of a skinheads on testosteron ,and they will do all to protect THEIR friends ,even when they harrasing your girlfriend.
IMO forgeret club Hypnotic ,month or two they will be out of business (i am pretty sure) wait for new owner make sure you see the actuall security crew ,and then .......... good luck.

I have to say too that the party totally sucked and now I see that it wasn't only for me and some of my friends I discussed it with.
The sound problems; the DJ playing...(wtf WAS this PARANORMAL ATTACK guy playing??? ); the security just watching people getting harassed, and guys grabbing girls, pushing; $5 for coat check ??????? – the whole thing just destroyed my night. Especially after the great party last week, this party was something unbearable.
I was totally depressed after it …REALLY depressed… And the only way to get out was to think of the great TDC party last week.
This was definitely the WORST party I’ve been to. Definitely.
