Aleph Zero: What's cooking ?

So, anybody else wonders what's cooking on Aleph Zero?

I mean, it's been awfully quiet in the AZ front --- almost end of the year and nothing released.

Should we be worried or is there something big cooking up?

I hope it's the latter

Cheers!

I wonder too. I thought I read a Bluetech album was coming out. Also Nate Connelly, Mindex, Altair, all had albums, and now, nothing yet.

Just saw this: Nate Connelly's debut ‘A Dream About Being Lost’ will be released on Blind Colour at the end of the year.

From what I gather from Facebook, where I am a fan of Nate Conelly, there were apparently some issues between him and Aleph Zero. At one point he posted "AZ, give me my album back!!".

I don`t know what was going on, but apparently it has been resolved

But you are right, I love AZ, and also their sister label Beats and Pieces, cant wait for something new to appear.

Well, hopefully at some point AZ will update us and shed some light on recent developments.

Supposedly there's another album coming out called Illuminated Gates.

Interesting Will try to dig up some info on that.           words People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly timey wimey... stuff.

Hi all,
Yes it was a quiet year on our front, releases wise. Busy with other stuff, and things have been cooking slowly.

Invisible Allies - 'Conversations with Bees' just in from the factory. Release in December.

Bluetech - 'Illuminated Gates' will be released on the end of January. There's also a dance remixes EP accompanying it.

Then: Ooze - Random Wondrous Things, Spatialize - Elusive Symmetry, Fredrik Ohr 2nd album, 2 compilations. All basically quite finished.

And yes, Nate & us have decided to part ways. Just didn't work out. We still recommend that you get hold of his album, it is amazing.

Thanks for the interest and following us

^ thanks for the update. Keen to hear all of those releases you've got in the works.

At least there will be one before Christmas, just in time for my summer beach holiday.           ____________________________________

Nice schedule!! 2014 promises to be a good year.

I'm very pleased to have a Spatialize album with AZ. Got big respect for the other artists on the label and AZ's high standards.

I've been slowly cooking the album (like a big dhal!) for a few years now. just working on it when feeling fruity and inspired. The AZ stylistic vibe of more contemporary electroncia (rather than pure psy-chill) have pushed me into slightly different directions of electronica so it's going to be an interesting release.

Hope all is well with AZ.
