Ya I was wondering if I went to a different party, but apparently I was at the one Dave went to, not Will. Left no bad taste for me. I had epic good times from beginning to end as did everyone I saw around me:

Didn't get any shots of the headliners but Procs blew my mind. I'm totally not a night-time person but the evenings kept me interested, which was a pleasant surprise, especially Saturday into Sunday. Some really cool stuff went down. And I much preferred the sound on the Funktion-One when the real generator was hooked up Saturday. It filled the entire clearing. You didn't have to be at the stage to fully appreciate it. The party up on the hill on Saturday afternoon was simply awesome as well. Didn't make it back up there Sunday but I had my fill the day before.

Everything came together great, last minute catastrophes and all. Thanks to everyone that grabbed it by the balls before it was lost, pushed that last bit of energy, and made it a reality.

Speak for yourself man! I think the dark should have started earlier and ended earlier than it did. I would have put Aphid Moon right after sunrise, then Earthling, then gatto matto, helios and torin/random (not in that order necessarily), and then have the shift to progressive happen around noon.

I'll get to make those decisions when I throw my own parties though

I thought it was pretty odd that the promoters had me play when they did. It pretty much killed a functioning psytrance dancefloor vibe and people were left scratching their heads as to why I was even playing at all. ???

The DJ before me didn't even want to stop playing because he probably realized it was a bad idea to go from 145bpm to 90bpm on the main stage. But hey, what can you do.

It's funny how psytrance promoters use my name to wrangle some people in but don't put me on at an appropriate time and stage for people to actually enjoy the moment.

But that's OK, this is my LAST summer of the budget shows, folks. Times are a changing. If you're a promoter, better take advantage while you can.

Well you have to keep in mind that the side stage didn't even start until midday saturday due to generator issues, so they had to struggle to rearrange the lineup.

What was bad about his set? (The rest of my car wanted to leave so I was packing at that time)

Afraid not. I was told that I would be playing on the main stage in the afternoon when they booked me so it was their intention from the start. But from the way the crowd dispersed, I don't think too many people were very happy to be hearing "chillout" music in the middle of a psytrance afternoon. Luckily a lot of my friends stuck around so I wasn't just playing for the sunshine and the wide open hillside.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure mine was the only set that was interrupted and made to turn down the music so a megaphone announcement that someone's car was going to get towed could be made.

No inspiration or imagination in his music very flat and boring (for the second time I heard him)

But mostly I had problem with is it always seamed that the tracks would get slower while playing in the middle of the track, like a computer was adjusting to how fast the track goes.
To me it was like the track flow would crack and it happened EVERY track.

Loved Earthling in Contrast specially the first half of his set. very intelligent and interesting stuff took us for a journey which i cherish most in a DJ/producer.

Sparkle Brother You have it ALL Wrong. People are not here to bitch. At least not to Seriously bitch. You are number 571 on this forum who gets upset with this. ( I hope I am not mistaken when I generalize that statement.)

Like Androcell said maybe there is a chance of making things better next time.

The fact of people letting know of what bothered them does not overshadow that this WAS one of the best festivals this year for sure. Specially after all that the organizers had to overcome.

Music YES you have the right to say what you liked and what you did not like It is sharing experiences. How many people you discussed the music with at the festival itself? I am sure at least a couple for Good OR Bad.

To me when a guy is flown from abroad he is getting paid and paid well usually, so that has to be backed up with good music. To me Aphid Moon is disappointing-my point of view.

And that is why this forum is here to express points of view.
