That’s exactly how i feel, can’t really get it after all this time.
I read people here praising these artists as if they were some mind-blowing, incredibly creative original musicians, but when i go and listen out of sheer curiosity, all i can think of is that most of the track were full-on track that went terribly wrong, and the producer just went:
"what the heck, there is no way we can put this one sounding any better then this, so lets kick it up to 170 bpm, and call it dark. At least its different". Yeah different alright, it’s terrible, but then again that’s how dark lovers like it, as if there is some sort of competition on creating the most terrible track ever.. lol its hilarious.

Couldn't say it better           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

i totally agree to that.
after really trying to understand the praised "mystical" power of darkpsy all i can do
now is laugh about it.
since last boom festival im cured of darkpsy

not everybody´s tastes are the same, and not all minds are the same, thank God there is variety for all people to choose what they want to hear.
now let´s rephrase the sentence please:
"Ace Ventura, Antix, Perfect Stranger. All this 140/130BPM- non-sense sub genre sounds like a new form of torture to me."
oh wait, it all comes down to tastes.what is great and sublime and delicious for some people are just not great for others and vice-versa.           ...

Who ever mentioned otherwise? It's all down to personal taste. Having said that I pity those that find the artists you have mentioned non-sense. Maybe to my and parents it is.           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

Sure i argee on that.
Ace Ventura and Perfect Stranger, now that you mention them, used to do faster music, but eventually, they changed.
On the other hand, i dont know any producer who went through progressive, or minimal o techno, and changed his style later to dark or fullon.
Cant really tell if this means anything to you, but it sure does mean something to me.

yep not even one girl around, and everyone is under 25.
Personally i dont see how that even comes near dance music, but hey, whatever makes you tick.

ok ,theoretically you are wrong, and if you care about girls more than music, then you better quit trance and start r'n'b

practically yeah i love having wasted half naked chicks dancing around me and if they like making out between them(or even wwith me included)then i wouldnt have a problem either
(not so politically correct i reckon )

r'n'b?
geez there was no need to be so cruel

i was just stating a fact, when i was a teenager I used to like DRI, and other punk/rock bands myself, even had my share of stagediving, bruises, and left some events with a black eye and a smile on my face.

just that some artists i mentioned moved to slower bpm´s does´nt mean that they are the suprem holders of the truth..it still comes all down to tastes, and i still repeat myself - it still comes all to tastes...           ...

ok...

i think it's obvious, prog is for the bootyshakers, full on is for the etards and dark is for the demented kids with serious issues....            "On the path of spirituality, one ventures to vanquish one’s own faults rather than to judge others"
