There were some good compilations but I haven't been into any solo albums released this year in N.A.
A good example is Quadra... the album could have been compressed into one song. I know he can create a greater diversity of sound so I'm guessing the label pushed for the "just one thing" feel... ah well. Don't get me wrong - it ain't bad - it's just undifferentiated.

actually 1200 mics is GMS, Raja and Chicago, who does live in Chicago

as for US albums/ releases, the dt ablums were far better than trance albums that were released, however the US did put out some very well recevied kick ass trance comps

Idos (Quadra) album for sure. it even kicks the ass of any compilation coming out of the US! especially MOE. c'mon!

there will be 2 more dark psytrance albums released by NA artists next couple months going into the rest of the year along with an IDM/chill compilation and a dark psytrance compilation......

I will have a debut album coming out on Trishula records close to the end of this year. I still am in mid production, but I think it's gonna be a pretty good one.
