Wow, thats a harsh response. I just wondered if you could back up what you said, why Aeon automaticly has the right to take Aeon as a pseudoname just because its the name? Your clearly the troll here, sweety...
Anyways, no diss for the name Aeon itself, I actually like it quite well, pseudoname/real name doesnt matter. Thats probably why I wouldnt have chosen it in the very first place (if the chance came to me), cuz such a short and "easy" name to say may allready been taken hehe 
Anyways, gl to both Aeon

TROLL-You clearly did not read the whole thread if you are still asking these questions which is why I responded to you the way I did.
Aeon (who started this topic) released tracks under his name on Psyshop. Whoever this other Aeon artist is they did not even check on psyshop or bother to find out who the other Aeon is or if their was anyone else with the same artist name.
Technically the first person to release a track with the pseudonym (is this what you meant?) is the copyright/legal owner.
The fact that Aeon is his actual name is icing on the cake that was just shoved in his face.
I got that spliff and good music covered...

Pretty fun, my collab dude and i were searching for a name, he suggested "Aeon", but i said nahh, already 2 people producing under that alias (saw this topic first)
But yes, i agree, always check saikosounds and also psyshop just in case.

So... Colin OOOD was nice enough to point me in the right direction. Turns out the other fellow has his own website and everything (aeonsound.org, which didn't show up on google for some reason), which makes his record label's lack of informative information even more infuriating.
How hard is it to link to your artists personal page?!
Anyway, I sent him a message and I assume we'll be in contact soon, however I doubt it matters... I assume his album has already gone to print, and confusion will abound.

So I finally got in touch with him....
In short, Lachlan Mackenzie/Aeon completed his debut album almost two years ago - and Relativity Records has delayed/fucked up putting it out until now. He was expecting it to be released in June of '05 and has been waiting this entire time. If his label had done their job, he would have clearly claimed the name several months before my first releases anyway.
The album has indeed already been pressed and is already being distributed, so I don't have much choice but to bow out and change names.
Anyway, he sounds like a good fellow and I have the best wishes for him and his music. 
I wish a thousand knives of fire and scorn upon the slackers at his record label.
