Hello people
did anyone work with this bfr...?
yea i know its a very old equipment but i found 1 for second hand pretty chep.....
im not going to make this my main studio synth but i am interested in getting it...
your opinion matters

depend what sound you like the most but the waldorf blofeld is around 250 euro,could be a better choice.
paying more for a virus b would hurt me |

killer synth even if its old, i really preffer good softwares over old digital synths but this on just sound great, i like its filters it sounds so "non software" i will tell you another thing, i was at my friends studio last weak not mentioning names but he is also one of my favourite artists in israel today, and this guy have every piece of equipment you can imagine from eventide h8000f to vintage pre amps and he uses the virus b more than anything... by the way i had 2 virus b's over the years if its cheap get it you won't regret..

I think the price of the virus b has stabilized too. If you buy it at this price there is almost no chance you will have to sell it for less if you get rid of it one day.
I actually think the DACs sound better on the B than the TI too.
Even if you get bored with it as a synth, for this price its totally worth it to just use as an external filter box for other synths.

it was around 300euro in ebay..but now its gone..
theres still a couple more around that price

I have the virus b
great synth especially for psy stuff
lots of people prefer the b over the c and ti because of its more raw sound
either way lots of synth for your money . heaps of polyphony , knobs , effects |
