I am a prog aficionado and dislike those artists style. Its too squeaky clean , commercial and predictable. And nothing hypnotic or psy about it to me.
Its sounds like something a Brazilian aerobics class would be listening too at a local Fitness center .

Choon and a half this. Proper progressive psychedelic music and nothing to do with the prog that gets released today and tops the Beatport charts.

Yep, prog psy is quite dead outside of netlabels on ektoplasm, and then it is only a few.

I believe Loud, Ace ventura, and sensient are among the few ones of the past era still delivering some good prog.

ALmost all producers had gone techno/prog house.

The downfall started around 2008, I believe. Sad to see this once brillliant subgenre lacking psychedelic vibes.

NOt that current artist are bad, I enjoy a lot of their tracks in the tech house/prog house, but not as good for open air parties as the old stuff.           "The dedication to repetition — the search for nirvana in a single held tone or an endlessly cycling rhythm — is one of electronic music's noblest gestures."
