great music..really great music..
but..what about the organization?why we can't have good bathroons, good dance floor area..cause the sun didn't let many people stay in the dance floor.. and polite people working!?!

is it worth to pay that much money!?!

But at the end, did everyone show up? I mean all the gringos? I couldn't notice, you can figure why...

Antidote kicked serious asses, Kox Box too, Anti also, Dino also, S-Range also, didnt like Marios, didnt like Bansi at all, Lotus Omega neither, the brazilians...most of them played when I was sleeping or something..
I guess after all...IPY POTY was a better party than Celebra.

Hey, Maura...

I left yesterday (Sunday night) and Mack had not played until that time...

He was supposed to play after me (on the 1st day), but he was playing somewhere else on the southern part of brazil.... the guy who played after me was Joe, from Klatu...

Well, the dj I liked most was Dimitri Nakov... he played some serious stuff... new stuff, old stuff, mixed all together on his set... the best trip of the party, IMHO....

I also liked Dinoīs set, a little bit too much techno stuf for my head, but very powerful music;)

Anti kicked some ass, and I was quite amazed with the full on tracks he played (stuff such as Talamasca and Logic Bomb...)... Anthony, from S-Range played some killer stuff, very trippy stuff and on the end of his dj set he played some Astrix and Logic Bomb tracks also...

I realised that 99% of the djs had played at least one Astrix and one Logic Bomb track... this 2 acts are ruling the world...

Bansi set was nice, very up music, but a little bit too agressive for the 38(?) degrees on the dance floor...

Frank dj set and his live set were something not from this galaxy... really fresh new stuff, veeeeery psychedelic and very powerful.... one of the best sunrise sets Iīve ever listened to... well, I think I can say it was the BEST sunrise set... people really went mad when he played Magnetic Force... everybody on the dancefloor (about 3000 ppl on that time) seriously digging!

Jordan and Marios played some nice stuff, but a little bit too techno at some points...

Antidote live set was amazing.... really new music from Serge, pumping, kicking, stomping, K-I-L-L-E-R !!!!!!!!!

Lotus Omega live set was nice also... a lot of new tracks (rossi and filippo had been really locked on their studio the weeks b4 the party...) good surprises came from their live;)... specially the track they did with Chicago, sampling his voice on a very creative way!

This is all I can remember by now... big pity that Simon didnīt make it, nor Tristan, but I was very happy anyway...

cheers,

V.O.R

Mack is supposed to play today (monday)

about jp, the thing is:

I was supposed to open the festival... would start after Mantra Pop (live/ambient)... I arrived 5 in the afternoon @ the party and Max told me to be on stage about 7 in the night (one hour b4 the time I was supposed to open).... but I needed to go back to Paraty and pick my music that was on the Pousada...

I arrived 6h40, but the Capoeira presentation finished earlier and no one from Mantra Pop had already arrived, so Max asked to JP to play some ambient... JP donīt have ambient music so he played Trance.... 50 minutes and then the Mantra Pop live started...went all the way chilling out music again.... after the live I started with Trance and the party didnīt stop anymore...hehehe...

on saturday, Swarup was supposed to play, but he couldnīt arrive by his time, so JP played on his time... thatīs what I know...

k?

BoM BoM!

Well, Celebra was exactly up to my expectations: Not quite a trance party, much more show-like. I did go there to see Psaras, Kox Box & Bansi...And I got what I wanted, plus an excellent set from Antidote as a bonus. I wanted to see Psaraīs Tortured Brain, but since it was surprisingly lined up for Monday, no way. Psaras DJ set was powerfull, bold, perfect. Kox Box was spoken of by everybody else...Bansiīs was kind of an anti-climax for me; He mixed old stuff with old stuff, coming up with some new old stuff ! Kind of boring.

Well, I went to Celebra mostly to hear the Sunday line up. Kox Box, Bansi, Nakov, Anthony and Stella Nutella. And imo that sequence was killer.

First of all Kox Box made a fuck**g good live. Exactly what iīve expected from them. Nice morning tunes!
After this, Bansi played all HIS killer-hits. What I realise was that the quality of the tracks was amazing!!! Maybe he was using dat or something like this, cause he only mix one track and after he only put it from the begining. And his mixing tecnique is very very nice, but I think mixing only GMS tracks is quite easy for him...anyway.
Then Nakov played his kiler set. I really like Nakov style, he played some of my favourites tracks(like Moments), and from what Iīve heard from him(till Celebra) he is one of the best dj who really mix. But imo he was not that good. Some very weird mixīs, and others simply SHIT. Maybe i was expecting too much from him(only about the technique). But anyway killer set...
Then Anthony played his live and dj set. Very nice stuff, including the groove version of Mario Bros. Donīt know who produced but a happy track...
After Stella Nutella really suprised me. Iīve never heard about her, but her set was very good. Not only cause the style or other things. She played the tracks with energy, something that was hard to "pass"(sorry, donīt know the word now) cause the big stage. And she did it!!! Liked it very much...

Despite of all organization problems I really liked the festival. Good music and good friends. Thatīs good for me...
