As you know, our policy in Isratrance is- write about what you like.

I've never reviewed a CD I didn't like- hell, what motivation do I have to listen to a CD enough to really appreciate what it is all about, if I don't like it? No really, think about it, what kind of motivation drives ppl who trash in their reviews (of anything- some ppl make a carear on doing that).

When I like something, I feel like writing about it, it gives me creativity, I write better. I put the effort and time to listen more and more and decipher what is it in this creation I'm reviewing, and try to convey that to the people reading.

Now of course, when I find things that are "negative" in a creation I like, I will write about it, and will say exactly what I think, but I will still try to be constructive about it, and always always remember that on the other side of this CD sits another person who put a lot into it.

I must say i write some negative reviews (for example my review of Dynamic album), simply because i review all the cd's i buy!

When i buy a cd, i need some time to assimilate it (usually a week) and then i write a review about it.
If in that week i don't like the cd, then i'll say it... that's what i felt about the dynamic cd and a few others...

I buy many cd's a month and sometimes they are just not worth my hard earned 15 euros! So i have to say it...

IMO moderators should delete empty reviews that only generalize the whole CD as "this is someone elseīs clone" or "everything is the same boring formula" or "there is not even a drop of creativity in this whole album" or "this is crap".
For me some of these terms are very disrespectful.

"Bad reviews" should at least include some info about some tracks, like what is the best/worse track, what track have the coolest/worse bassline or kick or FX, etc.

Itīs easy to say the whole artistīs work is crap just because you listened to the album a couple of times and didnīt like it. Difficult is express your opinion in such a way to make people understand why you liked or not an album, to compare styles and tracks looking for differences instead of saying everything is exactly the same.

Wanna make a "bad review"? Do you think itīs worth to make a "bad review"? Write a big one.

full_on- in that fashion I should also delete reviews that say "this is killer!", etc.
Don't you think so?

I review only albums that I like. As to comments - I don't comment on stuff that I don't know well. And I always write the review while actually listening to each track I comment on, so it's fresh in my mind as I write.

Then again - if I comment about something, I give my honest opinion of it. If people are all praise to an album which I find boring, I feel it's necessary to give a different opinion - and I explain why I have that opinion.

I think as long as people explain themselves in a rational manner, not just 'THIS SUCKS' in a longer phrasing, there's no need to delete the comment. As long as people try to be civil, I see no point in moderating them.          http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222

i totaly agree with shahar.
if i dont have anything good to say its better to leave it to someone who did like it...
and every album has its own audience.

Yes!!! Please letīs obliterate killer from psytrance dictionary!!!

sorry hehehe

Actually I think some pp are missing the point here... Itīs not only to write good reviews... Itīs to write good reviews... I mean, well done reviews, even if itīs a bad one...

Ravergal, I know this must be the biggest discussion now a days, fullon vs prog, but I donīt usually see in a prog release a fullon fan saing: this is prog... On fullon releases u find pp execrating the hole genre... this isnīt nice...
