i am sure that the abakus album is THE ALBUM OF THE SUMMER - and not only- !!!! i dont remember the last time i listen such a beautiful music.... Relaxing , it makes you feel happy and to think positive... No worries about anything...

I won't add anything new to the reviews. All i'll say is that it is enjoyable to the max and very accessable to ppl who don't want to hear anything psy related. It's great summer album that was created with a lot of love and passion. My favorite tunes here are A Whole New Way Of Looking At The Day (which is the standout tune here), Indu (Great example on how Progressive should sound), California Sunshine, Shared Light and Circles. My only complaint here is the lenght of the tune. I wish the album was a little bit longer.
Also i must say that i enjoyed Abakus live set @ Boom thoroughly. It was played at the perfect time (8Am) and he indeed gave me a "whole new way of looking at the day"
8.5/10 from me.

just perfect!!
soooo perfect that i really can't stop listening to it..
all the tracks are amazing! the album doesn't contain even one song that i might say " an average"..
Shared Light is an unbelievable track!! i can say that it is in my top 3 nowadays!!

I think it is best chill work for a long time... California Sunshine is quite outstanding track... One of the best that I've ever heard.

i usualy dont like downtempo that coming from trance labels.. its too shanti or spirtual for me.. or try to be dub.. or or or.. but this one, well its possible to compare with best electronic producers such urlich schnuas or sasha, its absolutely great and complete album!!
if u liked it, check out new sasha album involver (include remix to shpongle) and urlich schnaus album "isolated places" or layedred down double compi from bedrock,
let the music be emotional, just like abakus!

Been meaning to ignore the hype surrounding this album, but what do you know ... I decided to check it out anyways a few weeks ago.
And all the praise is fully deserved – this is one of the best and most complete chillout releases this year, and I can only recommend it to anyone. It’s a wonderful, wonderful album, perfect for those days when you feel down and need something to cheer you up.
Music for chilling in the sun, music for living and music for loving. Simply amazing.

Sorry folks but I don't like this one. I've tried giving it a few spins but I only find one track to be good and it was already released on a compilation. One of the tracks reminds me of an elevator music version of Hendrix's 'all along the watchtower'. I don't understand all the hype surrounding this album. |

I have had this album for quite some time. I haven't reviewed it because almost all has been said.
This album is beautifully created, each track unique in its own way.
You can find it all , from soft melodies to groovy beats that will get you totally spaced out.
I really love this album and after listening to it, there truely is a whole new way to look at the day . 
I've also been listening to this album in my base and I've been getting positive feedbacks from many military officers and high ranked ppl. 
I can't wait to hear more from Russell.
btw, track 9 - Lux Boutique really reminds me of Telefon Tel Aviv - Farenheiht Fair Enough
