I've started to go to parties when I was 15... maybe it was too early, but I don't regret it - I discovered earlier one of the greatest things in life and I've been having sooo much fun since then

seriously. i don't need a reason to go to a party. if i know there is one, and i know i wanna go - i go. that simple, no?

Just try to find some friends who usually goes to parties and go to a party with them. That´s the only way you can feel the magic of a trance party!! |

If the vibe is good everybody is cool and friendly with u..
I went to a party in 99 and since it i live for the music...
drugs exists in parties..
but don´t link parties with drugs, it is not a rule..!
... it´s a very wrong idea!

Toma, you should definetly go to an outdoor party. I started listening to this music after the first trance party I have been to, if I didn't go to that party probably now I wouldn't listen trance. I think that you can't discover all this coulture without going on parties, but ofcourse not all parties...... And it is true that you can feel the music and have a nice time on party without drug, I am doing that in the last 4 years.
Same as you I had problems at the bigining because I was15 when I started to go to parties, but believe me if you realy like to go, your parents will understand you......

toma: there are tons of parties in and around quebec all year round (obviously mostly in montreal, but there are some in quebec city/sherbrooke area also)
and in summer there are outdoor parites/festivals by the handfull
and to the person who talked about cannabis being 'legal' in canada. its far from reaching that stage.
in some places (ie: british columbia,quebec) personal smoking is already tolerated by the police, and has been for quite some time. not unlike many other places in the world.
but reports and talking about decriminalzing weed has been a fairly big issue for a litlte while now. they still want to stop the triangle of drug dealing, but they do not wish to follow the united states lead (a large % of inmates/prisons in the u.sa. are drug related) and send everyone with a joint off in a paddy wagon.
they decriminalzing (if it does go through) will mostly likely be like a parking ticket. anything under 7g is personal and nothing can happen. over 7g, a $200 fine, over a oz a $1000 fine, etc, etc.(those are just fictional numbers btw)
i think the system they want to establish is much like the system that got going in the u.k... (correct me if i am wrong anybody) |
