Hello all
I live in london (originally from South Africa) and Im planning a trip to India next year
Was wondering, what parties are there? Which would you recommend and why?
obviously Goa is a popular one. Ive heard reports of arrests and stuff. How true is that?
...and What are the dates?
Simply put: When should I go, where should I go, and to which party?
Thanks

if you come to Goa Tizzy, you have many choices, make your choice according to your taste.
For Goa mid Jan to March is the best time.
Arrests and stuff is true if you do some thing illegal or criminal. Its all good otherwise.
If you plan to come in April time, go to Nepal for mountain madness festival, very beautiful festival.
If you like to visit cities, come to delhi, every weekend lots of choice for partying, but only clubs.
Hope this suffices your queries.
Wish you a great trip.

There's plenty of psy action across India.
Goa for the season....Nov - March
The hills post Goa season
And almost every single from North to South ranging from Delhi , Calcutta, Bombay, Hyderabad, Bangalore and a bit in Chennai. Mind you all in clubs though, hardly any outdoor parties.

Most of the info you find online Tizzy is either going to be related to club events, big sponsored festivals or tourist destinations. You can find plenty of psytrance music at the indoor and outdoor clubs in Goa. If you're planning to go to the hills then check out the Manali thread above, includes some good tips on which towns to check out. The rest is where the road takes you as not planning too much adds to the adventure quotient.
