Many of us whos an active trance addict might have noticed how many djs we´ve got up here... Its endless... The big problem is its onle a few chosen onces who ALWAYS and i mean always get thier gigs and the rest sits by the side and gets their talent spoiled... How is it that the swedish organizers are so focused on the veterans that they forget about the new refreshing talents?

Keep it real swedish organizers and please take a look down the drain, u might be suprised what talents u might find!

I don't agree with you. It must be a bit different down in the malmö-region because here in the stockholm area there are parties all the time where new djs play. If you just show your interest you get gigs...

Ofcourse it's quite rare that a new and unknown name play at a big party but we all have to start somewhere... (speaking from my own experience)

Sure its a few new ones over here too but you got tp admit if u got a good reputation youll get more gigs living on that reputation than living on the skillz.

Patience, man. It takes more patience that talent, since before that first good gig no one knows your talent (it could also be luck or good connections, but everybody starts from the lowest point and climbes up).

BTW, I hope to see you on January in Deep Club!
Cheers

Well, for one thing: Originallity is not working here in Sweden. All dj's I heard playing here, is doing the same proggy-housy shit... That sucks bigtime!!!!!
The scene here is at the moment just filled with copy-cat's..

Everything doesn't need to sound spiral-trash you know!!!! Time to innovate! =)

I am minding my mannors..
Speaking freely from whats on my mind is what I do, and what I just said is only a 'kind' version of how I really feel for this!

Respect you say? Well, respect is something you earn, nothing you just get!!!
Accomplishment gives you respect...
Copying others is not how you accomplish anything!!

I just reacted on what 5Meo-Geo said about the scene in Sweden, and I think that he's totally right in his theory...

We have an overload of minimal-proggresive-house-wannabies here... No one is innovating anything (well, there is a few, but none of the above is accounted for...)..

So judge me if you like! I stand for what I think and what I say! (We're supposed to have the freedom of speech here, right?)

Freedom of speech here? Nah..
I think the problem in the swedish scene is the fact that it's swedish..           "The dinosaurs became extinct because they didn't have a space program."

Dear Ulf

Indeed freedom of speech is obligated here but in certain columns... Maybe u should try and think about how u use the freedom of speech...

Peace...
