How do you recognize a trancer?
do you?
Does a trancer look like an alien?
or like an ordinary normal person?
Do you think that trancers have a dress code and trancehead style?
Do you think that trancers have either the same code words in speaking,a common way of communication that might be related with our culture?
How we might look to other people,especially when they see trancers getting out of a party?
Your psy-thoughts please!

it not on the outside, but on the inside that counts.
i used "dress-up" myself as a trance-hippie, because i thought i needed to identify and express myself in every aspect to the music i love.
i still love the music, but i wear casual gear now, because that's how i perceive myself. i don't speak trance language, but i have a very tolerant & openminded way to communicate with the people on parties and everyday situations. Thanks to the music i am what i am, but it's not dominating my lifestyle.
but on parties, i see so many people wearing different styles of costumes, some colorful, others more tripped-out. sometimes people are soo druged up that they speak their own language... i'd say a large number of psy-trancers fit into the clichée of the modern electro hippie.

One of the best things in this scene is that there are no rules, I used to try to drees as funky and colorfull back in my early days and show my long hair but as i grew up i realized that it's not what u wear or how long your hair is, it is how u think and act that makes you a "trancer"

I think that different scenes have different styles, more or less.
In the US, on the right coast people that DO want to be identified as psytrancers dress as hippies. Ponchos, sandals, DC shoues or Vans, long hair, bracelets and chains around their necks, tye-dye or some other psychedelic t-shirts and so on.
Judging from what i have seen on some websites, in Russia people dress up modern, but with a futuristic touch. Shades and huge glasses, button-down shirts, guys-jeans, girls-sexy skirts. In some pictores I see people sport flashy and glo in the dark accessories. I see a style that i can't describe because it's kind of a hippyish with a moden touch.
Israel? At outdoor events- those green or brown pants/shorts made of light fabric, no t-shirt and dreadlocks?  oh, and upper zip-up tracksuit. I know few israelis here in Jersey who were hard-kore psy people and they wear exaclty what i said before.

i tottaly agree with Brain Storm. No rules. Be yourself. I've seen people in their pajamas and people in kimonos. Next party i'll dress up as Mogli from the jungle |

these are DAT tapes, as he is one of the last guys who plays from DAT...

Anywayz, I don't like those trancy flashy necklesses (is this the plural?:)) and the UV shining T-shirts. It's kinda' silly. Just dress up anything you feel comfortable in and... dance |

Pair of jeans,pair of prada (yeah bought them from Rome when i was at Sonica last year LOL),nice nautica sweater and a dark colour outwear or jacket with couple inside pockets preferably to put my mobile,money and keys.
I guess i look casual.
