christ, ya'll are so far beyond me it's literally painful. thanks for the info, it's actually moving my project along nicely.
i'm still looking for a venue to host the event. and the way we're planning it is just an off night experiment until we get it all worked out, then we'll have our parties.
and i may just head over to gearsluts as well and see what they say.

so, i've been reading and obsessing and obsessing and reading.
i believe i may have figured out a way to create a fully immersive sound environment, buttttt i may have to build it all from scratch, including the space.
does anyone on here know anything about speaker design? i'll be posting more when i figure out the exact setup i'm thinking of, and hopefully it's not completely insane or stupid...
