if u removed the light there wont be dark ... remove the seperation .
remove the pre concieved notions. and everyhing will become clear.

What a topic. Darkpsy is often neither dark nor psychedelic... just aggressive and noisy. I like the good stuff and I don't like the bad stuff. What could be simpler?

Eery samples and really devious ideas meant to scare the shit out of the dancefloor are the only things that get me going in psy music these days. Otherwise, I am straight up bored. |

I agree that "dark" is a silly way to categorize music. I love rainbows and sunshine, hugs and kisses, and my beautiful friends who dance with me to AMAZING music that should not be categorized because the beauty of it is the everchanging flow of psychological stimulation. However, the "darkest" party I EVER went to was a party in Mexico, in the Sonora desert, where they must have gotten up to 200bpm by 10am, and the samples were all sorts of weird horror-ish voices, and everyone was psycho. Well, maybe not everyone, but it sure was driving me psycho. I thought my brain was going to explode and my body was going to collapse from the constant vibrations. Music not dark in Mexico?!? |

don't let that fool provoke you. but thanks for sharing, i too think it's too much, it is traumatizing. it's not only dark, it's spooky and extremely mind challenging.
i guess, there are too many flowers and smiles in some people's lives and they need some drama-trauma to fill the void of chaos and masochism.
