Good one mate. Although I prefer the two albums that came after that one. Better produced with clearer sound and more mature.
Here's my choice:
1. Kyuss - And the Circus Leaves Town
2. Prodigy - Music for the Jilted Generation
3. Alpha Blondy - Live au Zenith
4. Audioslave - Out of Exile
5. Gorillaz - Demon Days

Some really good alternatives might be:
Fatso Jetson - Cruel and delicious
Unida - Coping with the urban coyote
Eagles of Death Metal - Peace, love and death metal
Slo burn - Amusing the amazing
Supafuzz - Vertigo
The Desert sessions - Vol. 1-10
Fu Manchu - California crossing
But I think all of these titles can be traced back to Kyuss in one way or anoter...

And don't forget Queens of the Stone Age. Band of ex-Kyuss members Josh Homme, Alfredo Hernandez and Nick Oliveri, although Josh is the only one left. But you can definetely hear some Kyuss influences on their sound. |
