juz bk ---fest ws amazing -- grt vibe -- bt cud hv been at a bettr plc -- like SJ07 -- i stil hv doubt whether ppl din turn up as they did fr SJ07 bcuz of th border issuessssss or they jus knew the location n campaign area wud turn out to b crappy!!!
Anywayssssss !!!!! hope things will change again fr SJ08!!

hmm .. i hear ya .. thanks for the comments.. but bro i really doubt u came to the party... i met all the indian guys who came to the party..
may be i dint get to see u..
just to clear my doubt.. please tell me the name of the venue .. then i would know u were there.
any ways its over and doesnt matter even if u do not answer..
but please dont lie on the public forum..

finally recovering from the party, been hanging at thamel.......
best nite set for me was DJ Kikxs (Italy)
and morning set was Mad Maxx aka Sirius Isness....
also last nite very nice set from shiva moon at tantra bar......all the freaks dancing till 12am.

For me the music was the weakest part of the party. I’ve heard only fool on. Most of the artists didn’t come. First day I could endure just a few hours and didn’t have a little patience to wait for kerosene club and got out from there because I stayed in another resort. Next day I came before the sunset and stayed longer, but again it was only fool on. Anyway crowd looked happy and satisfied, for most of the people who came from India it was the only chance to have an outdoor party. On my opinion it was a nice event with the good vibes and a lot of fun, but no connection with shivaratri at all. I think so because last year Tandav in Karnataka was too much special. I will upload some pictures soon and hope SJ08 will be more psychedelic.

yes not many people didn't turn up cause of the boder problems in nepal, situation was still not that good till 4 days before the event.
every person i meet at the festival really liked the venue, facing the mountains.
Naked toursit wanted to buy a small land and make his studio and stay at that place only.
HattiBaba did the opening set.
nite time music was powered by
kerosene club, Naked Tourist, Iguna, Kikxs, Psysid.
Other operators were Stomp, Isness, Paul Taylor, Vishal, Arnold, ShivaMoon, Sashi, Attrbuter, Ankit, Nisha, hoffkick. Smashing sets by all nepalese boys. as always enjoyable ping pong set by kathmandu's local bois dj kranti and dj Vibe.
Thanxs a lot to everyone who came out and supported us to make the event happen on such a difficult times.

Music ws really gud--started of really late (fair enough)-- bt thr were so many brks in the middl - n the campaign area at the hill side resort plc which ws given ws really bad -- i mean at nite it ws a pain to walk down to the tent --
ws at shanti --- everything ws sooo s oooo damn perfect pls keep the same plc for Sj08 if possibl or atleast somthing like tht --
Ppl with gUns don`t understand!!!
thats baSically the reason why they keep gUns..............too many misunderstandings:)

just got home after a 35 hr long journey. the fest was brilliant for me, it was worth goin that far i must say.... very good location, great people/vibes, the best set for me dark - Kixxs, full on - i dont rate twilight - vibe vs kranti (good energy)

Well, its nice to hear little ups and downs for the fest. But I should say people who made it so far for it, it's just those mountains which are amazing that give you a sense of peace.And You all have seen it now. Let's wait for the next journey and sure will be a blast. Seriously i second the comment that Aseem baba is good at what he's doing. It's just us people who have to be supportive and go for it whole heartedly.
I couldn't make it for the Big B'day, but we spun 3 days, exactly the same dates, right here in the city. KILLER! No cops no disturbance, only Chaos. Surely i feel there was a connection for us to make it Happen here though we couldn't make it to the land of the lord himself. Great going so far all the orgs. Wll see you for sure at SJF2008. Untill then...stay connected.

SJF 2K7 venue looked a lot greener and lush compared to this one.. I dunno i guess i ve got attached to that place! It was Magick there on that hill on Nagarkot
