With a small delay (but still better than never, right?), I would like to thank the whole nandan crew, especially to nadia, for hosting a celebration party of the unusual kind. The nandan’s sure do have the right intuition & understanding for making quality psy parties, as stated in the unprinted version of the goa-bible
Me liked it a lot, the location was “killlarrr!”. This is what I would imagine a setting of a story in any mystical fairy tale. I have never been so deep into the valais canton, but what I encountered at my arrival simply over went my keenest expectations. During the night I didn’t really notice the river next to the party, only then with the rise of the sun underlined by popstream’s gorgeous crispy morning set did I notice how breath taking the place is. for me personally the perfect moment. Well chosen!!
It’s not often that I witness a perfect organized party crew working together in a very logical manner. It begins already at the entry where I was warmly welcomed by sweet nadia with an envelope which included every thing I needed to know, for example the lineup of the playing hours of each artist. During my dj set most of the nandan members came to say hello, which showed me that they do care about the artists playing at their party. Big respect!!
I was there only from Friday till Saturday afternoon, but in terms of music I got my deserved psygasms. Not all the time, but surely worth the opening of a festival. But I do not understand why noa was replaced by shanti’s “what-the-fuck-was-that” live performance. After yab yum’s excellent live, I did expect a continuation of a similar dark style presented by noa, but instead I get to hear shanti. (actually i only saw him acting his live with a long drink in his hand waving at the party girls, but I wasn’t surprised). His Ibiza uplifting melodic psy trance was just to early into the night, which kind of broke the harmony of the music which has been started by the previous artists. But pop stream in the morning compensated for shanti’s failure. Morning music at its best, simply breath taking!
In conclusion, I feel really honored to have played at the nandan celebration, it motivates me to continue the path i have chosen in life. I’m happy to see dedicated people who believe in their project Nandan. I do hope there are many more party celebrations to come in the future. Thank you Nandan for doing what you can do best: A Feel Good Party.
