220 Volts presents a unique event to take place in Athens on Saturday 21 of November at The Cultural Center Hellenic Cosmos (Building 56, Pireos 254) with special guests from Israel Astrix and Eyal Yankovich of Hommega Productions plus a live perfomance from Ridden and a dj set by Steve Sai.
ASTRIX DJ Set (Hommega Productions / Israel)
Astrix is Avi Shmailov from Israel, number 55 on the DJ Magazine top 100 dj's list of the world. Signed on the prestigious Hommega Productions and having released two personal albums on the label Avi is considered today as one of the superstars of the trance scene with his distinctive, melodic and powerful full on style. He has released many tunes on the best labels of the scene including TIP World, Vision Quest and Spun Records and is always featured on the line up of the biggest trance festivals of the world. He is at the moment putting the final touches on his upcoming album Red Means Distortion and he is back in Athens for a perfomance not to be missed under any circumstances. The crowds favorite is here to turn the dancefloor upside down.
EYAL YANKOVICH DJ Set (Hommega Productions / Israel)
Being the head of Hommega Productions, Eyal Yankovich is with no doubt one of the leading forces in the global psychedelic trance scene. Eyal started playing trance sets in 1993 and established his label in 1997. Since then he has released some of the best Israeli trance albums by artists like Astrix, Yahel, Cosma, Psysex, Sub6 just to name a few plus two of the most well known compilations like the Full On series and Israliens. Eyal is a very busy DJ as he travels around the world to take part in the most important events and festivals while he also takes care of development, promotions and bookings of his labels artists. His sets are heavily influenced by his own labels music plus new and promising Israeli talents but he also knows that the international crowd also appreciates a different sound so he often mixes his set with "international" tracks.
RIDDEN Live Perfomance (Harmonia Records / Greece)
Ridden is the one man project of Michael Chavales aged 26, a new talented artist from Greece whose addiction with trance music started in 2000 and who is producing his own tunes since 2005. A member of Harmonia Records since last year he is ready to present you a fully dancing psychedelic sound through his live perfomance. His debut cd single Loosing Control is going to be released soon so keep an eye on this rising star.
STEVE SAI DJ Set (Harmonia Records / Greece)
Born and raised in Athens Steve is an active dj for more than a decade and the current label manager of Rhythmetic Records plus an official dj of Harmonia Records.With countless appearences in all major clubs and events all around Greece and a perfomance in the famous Love Parade 2006 he is one of the most well known figures of the greek dance scene.No matter what your musical preferences are Steve has suprises for everyone so keep an eye on him wherever he plays.
