who's this megaraver anyway??? never heard of him except in this forum.
i googled now and all i found is a silly looking guy that released a rave-compilation in '93?
is he some sort of a running gag?

Guys...the list shows not who is the best or what so ever..but just who is the most popular , and WHO is making A LOT of money instead of LITTLE .... +
Who i splaying infront of thousands and thousands of ppl almost every week , and who is sitting in his house for months and tripping in his studio ..
I see this list positive for trance...it will back up the believes which SOME of US ( trance artists ) has for the future , and since some of us wants to stay in trance till the end of life , there are certain things has to be done , so this scene goes to the way it should go ..and to the wrong way ....

while i will happily challenge IM or Astrix or Skazi to a DJ contest- who can whip up a crazy storm of constantly matched music where the basslines and the bpm match- i.e. peak2peak mixing not "track track track"
i wont challenge the house guys because they can actually mix and do so regularly...

its ok- i told my mother to get all her friends from her knitting parties to get together and knit me a sweater that says #1 DJ in the WORLD and besides they will all vote for me next year 4 sure so there.
we really need a different category like the WOrlds Oldest DJ or the WOrlds Fattest DJ or the WOrlds Horniest DJ or the Worlds DJ with Most Frequent Flier Miles or something...
whaddya say?
oh- and do we really trust voting in a world where people decline to think and do not look any further than what is in front of their face?
fuck- i mean G.W.Bush somehow got elected in the states 2x over.
i tend to think of this stuff as relates to trance like this- whatever the dj's are playing when you pop that E and feel so good...whatever artist was booked on that last party you felt so high on. why look any further and seek anything new or different when you can have more of the same old thing!!!! works for most people :::)))
thats why this supposedly progressive culture is currently stuck and why the next cultural innovation will come from somewhere else!!!
