Antix – (Iboga) – New Zealand

Well, how lucky are we…..?
.For those of you not familiar with the Strom bros, I can tell you now these guys are top of their class of psy electronica, the super stars of prog. Most fortunate and honoured are we to have them with us next Friday at Jacks Club.
Here’s their Bio:
Aka: Hayden and Barton Strom.

Started making music in 1999- they were enlightened very early by their parents extensive record collection. Hypnotised by their first trance cassette, they rapidly found themselves suffering the adverse side affects of an acute addiction, we all know and love, which landed them in Japan buying kit.
Influenced originally by Plastik Park and Spiral Trax they built around them their studio and their unique, rhythmic pulsating sound. Since then they have published more than 50 works, toured the world, numerous times, played all major festi’s and clubs (Voov, U- Site Fusion (Germ), Boom, (Port) Rainbow Serpent (Aus) Fabric (UK))

In 2003 they released their debut album “Lull”, a sell out and reprint and still going strong. Combining old and new sounds, fusing all styles with smooth production, rolling, rhythmic, organic and psychedelic, a huge success the world over.

Second album, Twin Coast Discovery (2005) sold more than 4500 copies, hailed as one of the best and most innovative progressive releases of that year.

Other projects in which they are involved are extensive, from remixes for Bedrock, Fitalic vapour and 19 box, and clubbing up Rhian Sheehan’s “hiding Place” and Pitch black’s “freefall” through to making music for movies.

Their live act is getting a huge reception globally…. this will be their smallest gig this year…………………and they will blow you away!

Yotopia – (Flow records) – Israel

Aka Tomer Dayan and Yonaton Rimon from Tel Aviv.

These guys started making psychedelic trance music together in 1999, Tomer studied sound engineering and Yoni, maths and computer studies. A good set of credentials with which to enter the electronic dance music world.
Their influences have been the classic electron bods such as Prodigy, Depeche mode, Chemical Bro’s, Floyd, and Bowie.
So far they have one debut album “Point Blank” which was an amazing success. They have also compiled for Flow records.
Yotopia have also had releases on ZMA, Moonflower, Innersound, USTA, Neurobiotic to name a few.
Their style is clean, up tempo, feel good progressive psy trance. Their production is pure and complex, cool samples, fresh overtones and infectious dance beats.

To miss both these live acts together in London on such a phat system would probably be considered sacrilege.

And some info on the DJ's .......

Dj Nadi (Domo Records / Tupan/Earpeaks) -Israel

Founded the Domo record store in Haifa in 98, as like most psy stores the electronic climate saw its closure, but from that came Domo records, a successful progressive psy trance label that built itself in a country saturated with full power psy trance music. Nadi met Avi and so to Hamburg, where the Domo thing took off. Their sound is clean, smooth, funky edged phat grooviness and is responsible for bringing to the scene Insane Creation.

Nadi has now begun his new Earpeaks project, fusing prog house with psy tuneage, making in-roads to the underground club scene and bringing them a taste of something new and special. “Our dance is too good to keep to ourselves, its time for the club scene to be enlightened”.

Listen out for his two last releases G.Spot on Domo records and Kwarup on Tupan Records and remember his last set at the Dream Temple party at the Telegraph last year where he supported Insane Creation and broke our legs.

Mateo (M-Klome) – (Alchemy recs/ Psy DMT) – Italy

Mateo started making music about 5 years ago, after starting work as music manager with Psy DMT. He very quickly made an Impression on the psy trance world, with his knowledge of music and different genres of psy and the chance to listen all day, he soon picked up fast the way to go. One of his first releases was an exclusive for the Dream Temple compilation. From there he joined Alchemy who are not slow in recognising talent. He plays both full-on and Progressive. This Friday eve he will be warming up the night with a funky tinged set. We welcome him back to UK for this extra special night.

HAMISH - (Alchemy Records/Crystal Yamantaka/ Echo System)

Hamish started djing at 19 and has juggled this with top notch party promotion in both north and south of UK. He was responsible for bringing us Freq just a few months back. He has an excellent taste in Psy Trance music and put this to the test at our last Sonic Sorcery party where his marathon 5 hour set, a flowing and groovy journey of slightly more up tempo psychedelic progressive trance beats, didn’t allow anyone to leave.
It’s a pleasure to have him on this double billed Psy Dream Temple special.

So whatever you do don’t miss this amazing Dream Temple event , try to get their early.
