i had tons of fun .
the music was awsome from the moment i got there. assaf was playing down to earth groovy set, then ryjiy took it up a notch or two and blasted some night music on the party. then it was freq turn. this was the moment of truth... we all froze our buts off for this act and it was finnaly his turn... and he gave a solid, well built, and just plain FUN set. not at all boring, all the time going somewhere else, well mixed.. new tunes with some known tracks (dreamboy, ee oo ee oo oo ee)
it was one the best morning i heard ever.
and then came the biggest surprise of all (at least to me) i never heard a full EDL/Aerospace set.. and it was way better then i thought... so much better that as guy took it on, it became the best set in the party... the new aerospace tracks simply put a smile on my face that wouldnt budge...
i had tons and tons of fun in this party. besides the music the whole crowd was naturally selected becuse of the cold and the distance, so it was the best of the best of crowds, the whole atmosphere of the party was so dellusional and it all got an extra effect with the whold circus tent... so it was a big psychedelik circus with excellent people, vibe, music...
thanks a lot 3rd empire.. for pulling the coldest party in history in the best most unbelievable way.

Super production with a lot of soul and worthy crowd of 400+ ppl made it to be a very powerfull gathering. Some ppl I really didn't expect to find there, such as Gabi and the Twins for instance and more than a few others. I guess that in the end of the day when something worthy shows up, and organizers are doing it really from their heart, then it's possible even in 0 degrees...
Party itself was a good one, I enjoyed thru all of it but my personal highlight of the party must be Guy Shanti, that played a set that consists of his tunes only and it was the second time I heard him doing that. The first one was nice but not totally satisfying. This one with all the new stuff he has dun as EDL and as AEROSPACE was rocking as hell and the nu and upgraded sound made it shake some booties in that tent. Well done Guy.
All the rest of the artists were good, I enjoyed all I heard. True progressive party for me
Have a good week everyone

that was definatly an unvelievable production.
i arrived at 2:30 and i ahve no idea who was playing but he was amazing, the best night set ive ever experienced.
just for that the party was worth it, but by all means the night got better and better.
all ahs been said so ill keep it short, but hats off to thrid empire.
and a final note. if people keep giving you beers be smart enough to say no, otherwise youll find yourself half unconcious next to a stranger in a tent at 10 in the morning.
Work like you don't need the money.
Love like you've never been hurt.
Dance like nobody's watching.

where's the bad part in all of this??? except if the stranger is a guy...and who can say no to free beer this note should be an advise "drink free beer and you'll wake up in a stranger's tent.free beer is the best beer since 1939!"

I was sick and didn't feel so good & after a huge dilemma, I decided that there is NO WAY that I will miss the 3rd Empire party and definitely not FREq! This was my first time in a 3rd Empire party and I was not surprised at all. Everything was perfect.
I got there toward the end of Ryjiy's set. Great set!
FREq came up next, although it seemed like such a short set, I enjoyed it while I could. It was great hearing so many familiar tracks.
GuyShanti gave a nice set. Good Luck with your album!
Huda G gave some beautiful morning music that made us want more. Too bad we had to leave in the middle.
Overall, huge respect to the 3rd Empire Crew for an incredible party!
It was great seeing many old friends that I hadn't seen in a long time and meeting new ones.
btw, I feel sooooo much better, as if my battery had been recharged. 3rd Empire is my cure!
Live for the journey, not the destination. |

I don't post here very often but after 17/12 I feel I just can't let this one go by unposted.
This was the best party I have been to in Israel EVER.
When I take all parameters into consideration: music, sound, deco, crowd, location, atmosphere and vibes, and crunch the numbers into the equation, it spells back: P-E-R-F-E-C-T-I-O-N
I arrived 02:30 to hear Assaf's superb openning set. Pounding minimal beats just won me over and put me in the right mood. It was very cold outside but inside the tent the temperatures were very comfortable and I saw quite a few people wearing only T-shirts and tank tops. I wasn't paying close attention to Ilya's set since I was too busy filming and getting myself intoxicated at the same time. This video clip should be even better than the one we did for the previous party, at the small price of getting in dancing people's way with the tripod and blinding them with the flashlight during the night (sorry about that:))
Freq's set was excellent. Definatley one of the best I've ever heard. Great uplifting music, well mixed and a crystal clear sound. The crowd loved every second of it and the big applause he recieved at the end of his set was the sign of it.
Shanti came on next and actually took it down a notch as he slowly worked his way up again. His set was composed of some very very good tracks and some very mediocre ones. The fact that it was 100% his own music would explain that.
Finally Huda-G closed with some very good hardcore full-power music which got alot of people exploding their remaining energy on the floor.
Over all I have to say I think the line-up was built to perfection with the main theme keeping on moving from minimal to prog to melodic to light full-on to hardcore bombings. This is the way to do it, and no one does it like the Empire.
Respect!
