what about some info on the artists ?

Liquid Soul
Aka Nicola Capobianco, this guy shot to prog fame back in 2002, three years after he discovered his personal addiction to psy trance. He rocked the Halluzination Festival in August of that year. From then he released countless tracks on top prog labels until finally he was given the chance to play Voov 2004. Since then he hasn’t stood still, releasing on favourite labels such as Iboga, Plusquam, Flow, Plastik Park, interzone, YSE and Domo and playing major parties all over the world. His new album “Synthetic vibes” has been a considered another landmark for Iboga, after freq’s “Strange attractors”. His style is similar only more subtle more funky and more psychedelic.
Again, I will re-iterate that I feel so excited to have these 2 prog masters playing live in London for our Xmas party. They are going to be a real experience.

Reefer Decree
Aka Oliver Bierlich has been performing since 1999 and has released numerous tracks under his Reefer Decree project and Oryx and recently a new collaboration dubbed up chill, Oliver Jones.
An extremely talented artist responsible for phattening the bass somewhat in progressive psy and adding a light hearted flavour. Originally there were 2 (Jiwook Bijl and Oliver together) sadly they split a little while back and for one desperate moment I thought that it would be the end of a great sound….Thank goodness Oliver bounced back with an exceptional solo Reefer project and just released the amazing Album “point of view” Which I think has illustrated how far he has progressed, tender, touching, groovy and wickedly funky this guy is going to keep you entertained for a good few hours with live and DJ set.

well i hope someones reading these concise but to the point bio's...........I'm not here to bore you which is why I keep em short......anyway, here's some more

Dj Nadi
Founded the Domo record store in Haifa in 98, as like most psy stores the electronic climate saw its closure, but from that came Domo records, a successful progressive psy trance label that built itself in a country saturated with full power psy trance music. Their sound is clean, smooth, funky edged phat grooviness and is responsible for bringing to the scene Insane Creation.

Nadi has now begun his new Earpeaks project, fusing prog house with psy tune age, making in-roads to the underground club scene and bringing them a taste of something new and special. “Our dance music is too good to keep to ourselves, its time for the club scene to be enlightened”.

Listen out for his two last releases G.Spot and V.Tunes on Domo records and Kwarup on Tupan Records and remember his last set at the Dream Temple party after Antix and Yotopia where the crowd just wouldn’t let him go.

Cheers mate ....
meanwhile more updates and bio's on the dj's , still keeping your appetite up there...

HAMISH
Hamish started djing at 19 and has juggled this with top notch party promotion in both north and south of UK. He was responsible for bringing us Freq and Ace Ventura just a few months back. He has an excellent taste in Psy Trance music and put this to the test at our last shindig with Millennium records where at the last moment I realised we just couldn’t do without him. Almost considered a resident, Hamish will provide us with a flowing and groovy journey of slightly more up tempo psychedelic progressive trance beats and once again it’s a pleasure to have him on this double billed Psy Dream Temple Xmas special.

DJ Bedouin.
I would like to welcome DJ Bedouin on board for this monumental Xmas extravaganza. He has is own style of chunky beats of which he is a collector. He works in the psy trance industry and therefore has first hand knowledge of up coming releases. He plays for Free Spirit, Planet Bob and has been found delivering quality dance music to psy trance heads in all kinds of parties. His sets are unfailingly packed full of surprises, stomping phat beats infused with global culture.
He appears to have gathered a large number of followers and usually receives applause after his sets, so be prepared….. mmmmm sounds interesting huh.

Tribal Groove zone rockers....
Simon B
I would like to welcome Simon from Twisted records, the prog /electro master of the label. And a very familiar name, known perhaps to all of you on the forum as event organiser, DJ and music producer. Simon has been working on music production for his own album and is kept busy DJing at only the finest parties. His influences are multifarious, and would be impossible to list here. He has put together some pumping tracks of his own and specialises in playing Progressive tribal electro beats, of which I am greatly looking forward to hearing. Be sure not to miss this guy in the Tribal groove zone from 12.30 – 2.30.

Well, just to sum up, I would like to start with a gargantuan thank you to the whole load of the nicest and funkiest people who chose to come celebrate with us at Jacks last Saturday. I was happy to find that people really do appreciate good psy trance and so glad to see so many people having a truly amazing time, yep Bedouin, you are correct the “vibe” was just so clearly up there. The atmosphere last Saturday just grew and grew through out the night. Luckily I missed the minor CDJ probs… (I hired those especially so we wouldn’t have hiccups… ah well).
From how I saw it, everything flowed flawlessly.
Daniel (Spiral project) you did a fabulous warm up and debut set in the back room, not to mention super visuals on the wall next to you, (and all the other help) your set, a tad beyond the 130 speed limit but nothing super Simon B didn’t sort out when he turned up and toned down a little to some cool funkin, chunkin choones and back room beats. Thank you Si B it was a pleasure having you on board for this one.

From back room beats to deep tribal house, the Brazilian Reaction DJ posse Marcio and Lucas tweaked the bpm a wee toot with the vinyl, biting into the groove. Thank you guys you both have style. .And lastly in the tribal groove zone room a big thanks to Marco (CK Family), who showed up instead of Diego to play a blindingly refined fat stomping last set.

Back to the MAIN ROOM:
Bedouin, congratulations, you filled the main dance floor, always a nerve-wracker at the beginning, and warmed the place in a 1st class style, at the same time managing to sort out a few teething probs with the rig and getting it all sounding well groovy for Sir Oliver.

DJ Oliver (Reefer Decree) followed with a cool funkyness, flowing from his fingertips that just ran perfectly into one of the most innovative live sets I’ve heard. A real character whose live music is reflected by his light hearted, slightly off beat personality. I really enjoyed his stuff, he really has mastered the art of combining driving, phat beats with funky light hearted overtones….beautiful.
Liquid Soul ….wow……Capo just took the roof off, stepped up the ecstatic factor, brought on a whole new fresh feel , there was a point when I could have sworn everyone on the dance floor was making such a big noise with hands right up in the air and smiles flying everywhere. Liquid soul was truly top quality…..and what a nice geezer, gets right into the whole atmosphere, shame I had to stick him in a taxi so fast.

Hamish you did a sterling job...taking over from liquid soul couldn’t have been an easy task, especially with ballon in yer gob. However, there was no pressure drop, quite the opposite infact, Hamish applied just that little extra throttle to a crowd who after Capo, were probably wondering how they were going to continue. The arms just kept waving the grins grew even bigger and the atmosphere was bouncing off all 4 walls and ceiling while Hamish rocked the place with phat allegro and a freqish finale.

Now this was the bit I was worried about, the last 2 hours when normally we finish at 6 wondering whether we could keep the arms in the air and bums wiggling till 8. Entrée DJ Nadi, one of the finest DJ’s around, fresh from Israel that morning, loaded with new tunes of the highest quality and just so adept at stitching them together. This guy takes the proverbial biscuit. Starting with some surprisingly pumping stuff and slowly, completely unnoticeably, bringing the bpm down to the freshest funkiest most infectious dance beats I’ve ever heard, again no one wanted to leave and that’s what its all about. Top atmosphere, top tunes…and yep Buju, as you so kindly said, the kind of thing we’ve come to expect from these parties.

Well done to all you fabulous people who came and danced and came and played and made it yet again the most wonderful experience for all.

Next party………24th Feb…07
