I would have to disagree. Musically, FreQ both live and DJ set was amazing, but the others left a little to be desired. Too much of a hard house sound and very commercial, not very psychedelic. Apart from the two guys who played back to back prior to the FreQ live....better and more imaginative, and not afraid to play some storming old tracks...
The sound was good from the front until half way down the main room, but after that it was muffled, not strong enough and was getting bad reverb from the back wall.
The people were nice in pockets, but two girls that I was their with put up with a shit amount of arse grabbing, groping drunk Stella Lager louts...
It seems SE One attracts people that are there just to get f*cked off their nuts and are not there to have a good dance...
and £4 for a can of beer?? Less psy parties here the better I say...
Dub room was excellent and the place was nicely decorated, but cannot say that it is the best party I have ever been to.
I would love to see FreQ outdoors as I think the soundsystem and the venue did not give this master enough credit... |

the only other guy who played that you didn't mention as being good (apart from Hazza at the beginning) was Allaby. and im pretty sure he wasn't playing hard house... but maybe you were standing at the back of the room?
i personally thought that the music was great, in both rooms, from start to finish. well impressed by Hamish and Disco.
Trojan DJs: legends.
Cosmo and Charlie really quality music too.
great crowd, only gripe was the beer prices, but i hadnt been out all week, so fuck it.

Heyyy!
Just came back to BCN, but I'm still smiling cause I had a great time in London! The party for me was excelent, to see all my old friends was fantastic.
Music was amazing, a big bravo for my friends Hamish and Disco, it has been the 1st time that I've seen them playing music and I'm very impressed!
Allaby very nice as well...and FREq, I have no words to say how he made me feel with his music...so so nice!
The Dub Room I heard that Cosmo and the others made a very nice set, but I haven't seen them  ... I could just to see my dear Justin Chaos who made me dance and fly as he knows to do 
It has been a pleasure to decorate this party! I hope everybody enjoyed and had fun!
Hope to see all of you very soon!

Thanks so much to everyone who helped out, especially Marta for her long trip over from Barcelona. Thought your decor (art) was immense.
Over all a very special night, lovely people and good vibes from all.
Thought FREq and Allaby kicked arse and the rest of the music was wicked, everyone seemed to have a smile on there face throughout.
Look out for the next installation of Echo System.
Re The Club and reverb, if you had been to the Seone before you would know that there are always dull patches within the rooms, tunnel effect. Thats why we had one of the best sound techs on the case, cheers Steve Plank. The problem is if you try and sort out one area another area distorts, so dance up front next time. |

I came all the way from Spain for this party and It was worth every penny.
About the Optical illusions deco all I can say is that Marta is the best decorator from Spain and she keeps on prooving it, way to go Marta!
Allaby was very good and innovative,great set.
FREq was amazing both live and DJ-set.
The dub club was incredible during the dub-reggae sets.
Justin Chaos played a wicked set as well,so funky I couldn't stop dancing!
Gret party, very nice!!!
