Following the worldwide success of “ Mar y Tierra” Zulu Lounge Music is proud to present SATORI, the new compilation by Xavier Fux (Vatos Locos) which will take you in a magic carpet ride into the 21st century.
Satori is a collection of eleven exclusive and unreleased hi-tech tracks that fuse ethnic melodies with psychedelic atmospheres, dubby grooves, jazzy lines, and housy vibes to create a chilled masterpiece that will rock your hammock.
Indian Tabla, Moroccan vocals, chunky beats, Afghani flutes and raw synth sounds create an eclectic fusion that results in tímeles soundscapes and warm textures.

amazing compilation..again from zulu lounge crew!
my favourite track is by far third ear audio - pedro's not home ...i hope to see their first album in the near future..
 Music may not take us to the Moon or let us live forever, but as we enter trough the doors it is opening before us, we find things far beyond our everyday experiences..

Indeed, great compilation!! I have one question, though. Are there different versions of this compilation? I got it from Saiko Sounds, and the tracklist on mine is:

Super news 
Mar y Tierra is one of the best chill albums out there so I expect part 2 will be top quality as well.
Very nice to see Abakus and Lunar Sound (side project of Ecliptic) on this one

Yes, really nice lazy music on this one. Very nice trippy dub twistings from Third Ear ( their debut album is delayed until September on L.S.D), Kuba gives us a teaser before his debut also on L.S.D next month, more dubby flip music, guarunteed to make you float.... Clever lounge vibe from Vatos Locos - very soothing. Lunar Sound's 'Space' is a fantastic slightly more upbeat trip, and we get more dub from Phully and E Altes..
I only got this yesterday, but haven't wanted to listen to anything else yet - which is a good sign

I've been playing this quite abit since I got it - thought it was a bit loungey at first - but got more into it the more I played it - definately an Ibizan vibe to it - but in a good way
BTW given LSDs currently ever-delayed release schedule - I'd be very surpised if the 3rd Ear album makes it out this sept.. but we live in hope...

It is a bit too loungy for me however I've got to say best track on the album is by Kuba it's a chillakillah ! (he's playing live at my birthday party begining of september) |
