regarding the cd: i gave it a try honestly - i am impressed by void but at the end its like chem crew made a deal to use only 4 sounds between every member and make sure most of the tracks are easily mixed on 145 bpm with THE SAME endings and starts so its not a problem for anyone.
if that's not copy paste trance i dont know what is. another issue is the way they remix things, simply adding a bassline a hard kick and some breaks does not equal any revolution of the mind in my opinion.

I WISH rmx WOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!!!!!!!
Just the power that makes me go insane.
For me the best track of the album.
Special mention for Exaile, this guys last tracks are really killers, Knock it off, Radio edit, One of the tribe, Hide and Seek, etc. Sure that their new album will be a BOMB.           2 MINUTE CLIMAX TRANCE!!!

While I respect the Chemical Crew for making music that gets the dancefloor going, I must say that Skazi seems to be becoming a little bit of a novelty act with all his remixes... it's good the first time, but loses it's appeal over any lengthy period... I like trance that goes the distance, like much of the early Israeli sounds and some of the later 90's stuff... to this day ti still sounds perfect and will get anybody going. I'm sorry to say that this cd was a bit of a waste of money for me,t e samples sounded great, but the tracks are basically the same sample looped around and around, nothing new or awe inspirining. Best of luck to the Chemical Crew with future works, Void's tracks were the only ones to blow me away, can;t wait for his album

I have to agree with the most on this one.. the first CD is total cheeze in a can.. i honestly can't see people from the psyscene dancing to these beats, i can't see hardtrance artists playing out the tracks, very far from techno heads.. maybe some Happy Hardcore DJ will use some of the tracks..

i've not yet too a listen to the second cd, but i hope there's a little less of the BRUTAL sound found in half the tracks..

the tracks that i liked on the first cd are :

Dino - Thats it (bonus track, thank god, finally, something psycadelic)

and maybe the skazi track Acelera...

Skazi is to Psytrance what Anthem and Epic trance is to Classic-Chance

- Forumulaic with build ups and break downs in each track.

I havnt lisented to this entire CD yet, just the first few tracks. While I do enjoy the "I Wish" Remix quite a bit actually, I fail to see where this "power" comes from tracks like Accelera..

Skazi managed to found a certian sound/style that got the floors stomping, and in true electronic-music fashion : he's taking the popularity of that sound/style, exploiting the hell out of it, and in the proccess creating a new sub-genre (buttrock?)

While in moderation and mixed in with other songs/elements, its fine, but when you exploit it to the point you have an entire genre out of it, its getting to be a bit much.

a DJ can easily pick up a few skazi tracks and not need to know how to 'DJ', simply beatmatch the start/end of each track and the skazi tracks will take care of the build up, the tension and the release for you, no mixing skills required by the person behind the decks - its all done for you.

while the tracks I have heard are 'ok', and I do like the I Wish remix ... I'm not sure if I like the direction its taking psy. This style of 'psy' has mass-appeal, and gaining mass appeal is a bit of a double edged swords, has its benifits, but also alot of downfalls.

... let me take back what I said about Accelera (had only heard a low quality sample of it from a site). Borrowed the CD from a friend and had it playing in the background not paying attetion to what track was on, and the first time the 'accelera' sample played it gave me chills, would be a great song at a club if tossed in at the right time.

damn .. as 'psytrance' goes, I'd debate just how psychedelic it is, but .. I do dig it now that I'm giving it more of a listen. (although, I do still think its quite formulaic in alot of areas)

hmmm. Just go the cd yesterday. Not the most impressive comp by skazi. The compilation seems to lack sumthin, it just doesnt dish out that agrression his music used to. Maybe my taste has just changed.

Although - props to exhaile!!!! These boys make thumping trance. Cannot wait unitl they come here to South Africa!! Lookiing forward to it!

this is the worst compilation i've bought in a really long time. the only track worth listening to is the dino psaras track on CD1. the psychotic micro track is ok and the psychaos track is avergae. the rest is a load of tripe. this is not psychedelic trance, more like acid techno

IMO

it sounds like Nu-NRG or acid trance.. with vocals.. hehehe..

the void track on cd 2 is sick, until the breakdown..
