hello music heads!
I need advice, I have made bass samples to load into either battery or Kontakt or something similar.
My question is were should you cut the start of the sample before loading it into a sampler? at the zero crossing ??
any advice or suggsetion would be apreciated.

Always at a zero crossing point, unless you want a click. |

if u want to ue the sampler envelopes/filters, sample ur sound with gated amp-envelope on it and the filter wide open, and the u have a sample which is very flexible to use in the sampler. and indeed, cut on zero crossing if u don't want nasty clicks |
